Awesome, very comfortable for the ride. cost I think little bit high. otherwise, it was very good and comfortable. but you guys little bit think about the mileage of the vehicle and try to be affordable. if the cost of the bike is reduced, everyone will buy the vehicle and ride the vehicle. Thanks to ktm

  • Hero Mavrick 440
Hero Mavrick 440: A failed attempt to challenge Royal Enfield and Honda

Listed below are the pros: 1. Superior ride quality, very comfortable and easy to ride that even my dad takes it very easily. 2. Excellent low and mid-range torque, it has plenty of torque and never feels exhausted. Reaches 100KMPH with a slight twist of the throttle. 3. Very engaging confidence sets it the moment you release the clutch, whether you ride it at 10 or 120 kmph confidence remains the same. The bike wants you to play with it. 4. Bright headlight no need for aux lights. 5. Connected features, it is equipped with E-Sim so that you can track and set speed limit alerts and fall alerts makes it very useful. 6. Braking: very progressive and easy braking setup braking needs can be handled by just one finger. 7. No back pain on long rides very easily you can do 150 - 200 kms in a single stretch. 8. Roaring exhaust sound keeps you entertained on highways and city. 9. Low heating only when standing in traffic for more than 10 mins in idling then heat is felt and once you get going even at low speed engine cools very fast. Cons: After all not everything is great on this motorcycle: 1. Bad meter console and its controls: using navigation is a waste of time as it hangs after some time. Low visibility in the time as it is a negative lcd in sunlight it fails to even clearly show the speed. 2. Automatic headlights: it keeps switching on and off whenever it feels like. 3. Vibrations near 4000 rpm and post that flat curve of the power band it has maximum torque in the 2500- 3000 rpm range and the engine loves those readings. 4. Very high engine braking, you will feel the resistance. The last con is something that makes you reconsider your decision to buy this such a good machine: THE AFTER-SALES SERVICE AND SUPPORT: Since this is a newly developed and launched motorcycle, it will take some time to get settled with minor issues however Hero’s lack of Quality control is visible with this premium product: 1. Since the first hour of the delivery, the whole LED headlight setup has been flickering randomly, it starts to flicker anytime. 2. No support from HERO on this today is the 23rd dat I have been to the service center more than 6 six times, they just open up some wires and say it is fixed. 3. Mechanics are not trained to fix this bike, they even do not have a clue where to find the battery or how to open the panels of the bike to check for wiring issues, even a windshield installation took almost 3 hrs because mechanics there were not having any idea on installation procedure and this is happening in a renowned service center situated in Noida. 4. When you reach out to customer care no response is received, it is just another Splendor for them and yes you have to wait in line for at least 1- 2 hrs in the queue to get a job card opened for basic service. 5. Very low customer satisfaction and no importance to consumer voice. This is one of the major reasons I believe one should think before investing your hard-earned money as other brands like HONDA, KTM, RE offer very reliable product offerings and resolutions in case any issue arises with the product. I could not believe how HERO did not have time even to diagnose the issue it is one of the serious issues when you are traveling at night and out of nowhere this headlight starts flickering which can result in fatal accidents as well, and for Hero, this is just normal. Verdict: It is one of the masterpieces that has the potential to challenge brands like RE and HONDA CB350. It ticks all the right parameters for comfortable riding and can easily fulfill the daily needs of a rider. However, Hero’s attention to the problem and the solution is where competition makes a big move and remains the king of the segment. This a just another failed attempt to challenge Royal Enfield and Honda. Thank you for reading and for your time.
