It offers the best compromise. You get the superior comfort (soft suspension and high ground clearance) needed for bad Bangalore roads, along with a powerful yet refined engine that delivers respectable mileage (38-42 kmpl). It's also lighter and more feature-rich than the other bikes. I highly recommend test-riding the TVS Ronin

    • KTM 250 Duke
Duke 250 Gen 3 – The Perfect Blend of Power, Precision, and Style
      1 week ago
      M Chakravarthy
Owning the KTM Duke 250 Gen 3 has been nothing short of thrilling. From the moment I swung a leg over it, I could tell this machine was built for riders who crave performance with control. The rev-happy 250cc liquid-cooled engine packs a punch while maintaining impressive refinement, especially with the latest Gen 3 updates that enhance ride quality and road stability. Its aggressive LED headlamp, sharp tank design, and bold graphics give it a dominating street presence — it turns heads at every signal. The bike feels light yet planted, slicing through city traffic effortlessly and offering immense confidence around corners. The slipper clutch and smooth 6-speed gearbox make every ride seamless, whether in traffic or on open stretches. Comfort-wise, the seat padding is firmer than cruisers but perfect for sporty ergonomics. The suspension setup is balanced — great for spirited rides, though a bit firm on bad roads. The dual-channel ABS adds confidence while braking, especially during quick stops. Servicing has been top-notch — KTM’s service network has improved, and the technicians at the local center in Nawada were knowledgeable and prompt. Parts availability and maintenance costs are reasonable for the segment. Pros: - Striking design and premium build quality - Excellent engine refinement and mid-range punch - Sharp handling and responsive brakes - Feature-rich TFT console and LED setup - Great value for a 250cc street naked Cons: -Slight heating in bumper-to-bumper traffic -Rear seat comfort could be better for pillions Maintenance Tips: - Clean and lubricate the chain every 600–800 km -Check coolant levels regularly -Use high-quality synthetic engine oil as recommended -Keep tire pressure optimal (especially before long rides) -Wash and wax the body to maintain that signature orange glow Verdict: The KTM Duke 250 Gen 3 is a perfect mix of performance, precision, and street appeal. It’s not just a bike — it’s a statement for those who love to ride with confidence and flair. Whether you’re carving corners or cruising through city streets, this Duke never fails to deliver an adrenaline rush. “A true streetfighter that blends power with personality.”

Disappointed with the Performance and Refinement of this 250cc Bike
      1 week ago
      Hemant Jaiswal
I’ve been quite disappointed with my experience on this 250cc bike. The engine exhibits unusual behavior — particularly at low or moderate speeds. When holding the clutch, the RPMs increase abruptly without any corresponding rise in speed. This not only feels unsettling but also raises concerns about the bike’s long-term reliability. The lack of smooth power delivery makes it difficult to handle in heavy traffic, where precise throttle and clutch control are essential. Such excessive and unpredictable revving could lead to premature wear and tear on engine components. Given the price and the segment, I expected a much more refined and responsive engine. Unfortunately, the performance falls short of expectations. Key Issues Observed: • Sudden RPM surge when clutch is engaged • Poorly tuned low-end and inconsistent power delivery • Concerns about engine durability and refinement Overall, I would strongly recommend potential buyers to take an extended test ride before making a decision. In my opinion, there are other 250cc options available that offer smoother performance and better refinement.
