The Hero XPulse 400 is possibly one of the most awaited motorcycles. The brand had showcased an early part prototype of the motorcycle a few years ago and that revealed quite a few details about that new platform.
Firstly, Hero MotoCorp will use trellis frame for this new platform. This will help the brand keep the overall kerb weight in check. The big XPulse prototype was also seen with a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, however, the displacement is rumoured to be between 350cc and 400cc. The power figures of this motor is likely to be around 35bhp-40bhp and a lot of focus would go on great low and mid-range torque.
In terms of equipment, the XPulse 400 could get upside-down forks at the front and mono shock at the back with preload adjustment. The bike will definitely get 21-inch wheel at the front, however, it will mostly get tubed-type tyre.
The XPulse 400 is likely to make its world debut sometime late next year but could go on sale in early 2024. It will go against the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, KTM 390 Adventure and the BMW G310GS.
