Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC), a global giant of motorcycle manufacturing is headquartered in Japan. It holds major stake in its Indian subsidiary, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIL). SMIL was set up after Suzuki's re-entry into the Indian two-wheeler market after it severed ties with partner TVS in 2000-01. Suzuki was then the technology provider in the former joint venture company TVS Suzuki.

Suzuki, a Japanese automobiles manufacturing company, manufactures a complete range of motorcycles as well as small combustion-powered engine products. A global giant, it has its production units in more than 22 countries. However, in India, it is mostly known as a car manufacturer, thanks to its collaboration with Maruti. Together they are Maruti Suzuki, the largest automobile seller in India. Suzuki operates in three main segments including motorcycles, automobiles and others.

During the 1950s, 1960s and the better part of the 1970s, the company made motorcycles with two-stroke engines. Suzuki became the first Japanese bike manufacturer to win a motocross world championship when Joel Robert won the 1970 250cc title. Suzuki introduced its first motorcycles with a four-stroke engine, the GS400 and GS750, in 1976. Thereafter, Suzuki established a reputation as a manufacturer of well-engineered sport motorcycles.

Suzuki invented four-wheeled ATVs in 1983 and the high performance ATV in 1985 among many other firsts in the ATV segment. The launch of two of its international models in India reflects Suzuki's intent to cater to the Indian enthusiast. Their India line-up includes the new locally assembled Hayabusa and the entire range of Suzuki superbikes - V-Strom, GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F, Intruder M1800R as well as the ATVs - Ozark 250 and QuadSport Z400. Suzuki India's scooters and commuter motorcycles portfolio includes the Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Access, Hayate and Let’s.

Suzuki has recently introduced new bike models like the Burgmann 125 and the Intruder 150 in India which are based on its high powered offerings available in the global market. Suzuki plans to introduce a range of exciting bikes across all categories in 2019 starting with the Gixxer SF.

Best overall look value for money scooter among the 125cc range.
      Vaibhav Patil
Buying access is one the most important decisions of my life. It offers a stylish look with good aggressive performance as well. Provides 56kmpl average, has been driven 3000 plus, still the same performance as a fresh buy. There are multiple options in 125cc, but if it offers the most overall perfect model.

A Stylish and Comfortable Maxi-Scooter for Everyday City Rides
      1 week ago
      Mohammed Shahid Shaikh
The Suzuki Burgman Street 125 is a stylish and premium-looking scooter that stands out in the 125cc segment because of its maxi-scooter design and strong road presence. It offers a very comfortable riding experience with its wide, well-cushioned seat and relaxed riding posture, making it ideal for daily city commutes and even slightly longer rides. The 124cc engine is smooth and refined, delivering decent mileage of around 45–50 km/l, though it lacks strong power for highway performance or aggressive riding. The latest model also comes with modern features like a digital or TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, and good storage space, adding to its practicality. However, it is priced a bit higher than many competitors, and some users feel it could have offered more power at this price. Overall, the Burgman is a great choice if you prioritize comfort, style, and smooth city riding over speed and performance.

From City Commutes To Highway Cruises - The Sensible 250cc Choice
      8 weeks ago
      Shaikh Eftikhar Hossain
I really like my Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 because it strikes a great balance between style and performance. It has a massive road presence that makes people stop and notice, giving it a big bike feel. The engine is incredibly smooth, making every ride enjoyable without annoying vibrations. I’m also very happy with the running costs as my first two services were less than 1.5k each, and I get a solid 38-40 kmpl on the highway and 32-34 kmpl in the city. However, there are a few small things that could be better. The LED headlight throw is just average for this price, and the instrument cluster feels a bit basic compared to newer bikes. Also, the rider footpegs can be a bit annoying in heavy traffic as they sometimes get in the way when you put your feet down, despite these minor issues it’s a fantastic, refined machine that i am very glad I bought.

It is a very comfortable bike and the sound is also very good. This bike is also very good to ride, it feels comfortable even for long distances, like I myself have ridden this bike for 1250km, the time taken for continuous stops is for the time taken for petrol, otherwise I have driven it for 1250km continuously.

I enjoyed driving it; it's too comfortable for both long and short rides. It also gives excellent mileage on highways. To maintain your bike, you can keep your engine oil changed within 6 months, or if you have ridden it for more than 4000km and before 6000km, it will be more beneficial. Keep your air filter clean.
