BMW Bikes

BMW bike price starts from Rs. 2,90,000. BMW offers 25 new models in India with most popular bikes being C 400 GT, G310 RR and S1000RR. The upcoming bikes of BMW include R nineT Racer and F 450 GS. Most expensive BMW bike is M 1000 RR, which is priced at Rs. 49,00,000.

BMW started off as an aircraft manufacturer in the early 20th century. Post World War I, BMW was prohibited from manufacturing aircraft engines, so it set its sights on the automotive world. The first BMW motorcycle rolled off the production line in 1923. Christened ‘R32’, this model became the base for future BMW models for a long time. BMW has been associated with a number of innovations in the automotive world. Technologies like telescopic forks, hydraulic damping and straight-travel rear-wheel suspension were first used by BMW. Over the years, BMW has also been actively involved in various disciplines of motorsports including superbike racing, road racing and endurance rallies. BMW’s current range consists of a wide variety of motorcycles, stretching from superbikes to naked roadsters, from adventure touring motorcycles to modern classics. BMW even has ‘urban mobility vehicles’ in the form of scooters, though these aren’t sold in India at this point of time. BMW plans to increase its global sales figures by a significant number, and the 310cc motorcycles that have been developed with TVS will play a big role. However, BMW currently sells only large-displacement motorcycles from its portfolio. The G 310 R and G 310 GS will be launched in the near future, however, but they won’t be accessible as such, with their premium pricing.

The bike is very powerful and it's more comfortable than other bikes in the segment. Everyone has a Special Thing In My Life it is my love BMWS1000RR. The only problem is its external Accessory's Price When We Want to Add Any Accessories Like Frame Sliding Protectors Grill etc. They are very Expensive So the only problem for me.

Premium Motorrad experience on a budget

Firstly, this is the prettiest bike in the sub 4 lakh range. Period. And the BMW badge and design language is the cherry on top. I was sold right from the point I entered the dealership for the first time. Before I even get to the bike, I have to say no other brand compares to BMW in terms of service experience. Yes, you are paying a premium for that, but it is worth it to me. I believe you do not just buy a bike. You buy a brand. As for the bike, I fell in love with the G310R on my very first test drive. There is a very nice grunt to it and the sound builds up in a thrilling way as you climb the RPMs. I have pushed it to the limits ever since buying and loved every second of my ride. After 5000 RPM, the engine note changes into a powerful roar which I cannot describe in words. The 310cc engine pulls really fast, power increases linearly and the lightness of the bike makes it a breeze to flick around. Handling is very easy especially in Bangalore's traffic. And yes, I have had bystanders stare at my bike and one of them asked me the price tag. That alone is worth the 3.7 lakh on-road price for me. There are no free services. This is BMW after all. The first service is at 1 month/1000km, then 12 months/10000km after that. First service cost me around 6-7k. While that may seem high, keep in mind that you only pay once a year. Some other brands have each service cheaper but they have multiple services in a year, so ultimately you're not really paying more here. The only gripe I have with the bike is the gearbox. It is honestly a little clunky at times. Sometimes the gear change doesn't register and you have to consciously push it with your toe harder. Also, the display while sufficient in terms of clarity and information looks dated compared to the coloured TFTs in other bikes in this range. Apart from these shortcomings, I really have no complaints. It has been 9 months since I bought this bike and I am still excited to ride it everytime. If you are only looking for value for money, I would not recommend this bike. But if you value the brand value of a BMW, its unique design and a premium service experience (my first service was completed smoothly in half a day and the staff are very friendly), do not think twice about going for the G 310R. Happy riding!

    The perfect adv BMW 310GS

Owned a bike for the last 2 years and found it value for money after 2 years riding. Yet it comes with some extra cost but it's bearable if you carry a big brand logo. Here I'm sharing my feeling and experience about bike BMW 310GS. Pros - Best suspension in segment, Best ergonomic and design in segment, Perfect mileage, Perfect sitting posture, Looks bulky and expensive. Cons - Vibration over 100 kmph crusing, Expensive services approx 10K per year, Expensive parts, it's not cheap to carry a brand name.
