This bike is best bike of its class and has more power and torque than royal enfield and has a beautiful paint job which is very high catching and when it go on road you love it how this bike getting fast and fast. I think that the other bikes in its class and with this price no one is here in the competition i love this bike its a great machine. And it turns head of people who are close too bike every one is near this bike he also thinks that what's a beautiful bike is this and it has a great sounding exhaust which sounds sweet and loud and punchy.

1.Buying experience- still not available to buy,but excited to buy jawa forty two 2.Riding experience- old jawa motorcycles are fun to ride, suits our Indian roads, i'd ride jawa yezdi which gives joyful experience, and that jawa sound makes heads turn out in public places which gives nice feeling..!!3.Look & performance- here is no question about classic look, i think there was only re bikes are previously there in Indian market which has classic looks and styling so re bikes has not any competitors but now the legend is again back in India with more power than re bikes!!*power- 27 ps is absolutely greater power than the re 350 range bikes also jawa's 293 cc engine make tough competition with re 500 range that's amazing.. Re has only one point to win ie torque and only 500cc re can win bcoz they have 42 nm of torque. But here is no chances of re 350 to win against the legend jawa*weight- re bikes are usually over weight and that's why there is always fear to cross the speed limit and to maintain in the city traffic, but jawa bikes are 170kg which are less as compare to the re. 4 servicing cost and maintenance- jawa bikes have little more maintenance cost bcoz after long time they were launched and this is 1st generation so it is need to be more refined or tuned, i think there may be initially mileage of bike will be less as expected but later it will be fixed that is no worrying bcoz its 1st generation* pros- 1.Best bike in 1.5 price range. 2.Better power as compare to re 350 series. 3.Better cruising capability. 4.Jawa forty two classic with modern looks??*cons- 1.No disc brakes in rear. 2.No daylight running light.

Its getting rust where as i used a bike for 17 years no which i dint seen such rust issues. When we are paying such huge amount why manufacture is getting compromise on there metal they using.4 - its ok 5 - i don't suggest others to buy it, as we are paying huge amount and jawa manufacturer is not giving good material.

I've been wanting a decent but affordable cruiser bike for city and occasional highway rides for a while now. Like most other cases, the usual suspects like the classic 350, meteor 350, and avenger 220 come to mind. But the moment I saw jawa 42 2.1 on my desktop screen ...
I've been wanting a decent but affordable cruiser bike for city and occasional highway rides for a while now. Like most other cases, the usual suspects like the classic 350, meteor 350, and avenger 220 come to mind. But the moment I saw jawa 42 2.1 on my desktop screen first was a memorable one. The test rides of these bikes made me want to get the jawa even more, and thankfully, the folks at the jawa dealership were as helpful, cooperative, and more importantly, understanding as they can be, so nothing really made me have any second thoughts. The first few days after buying the bike are always magical. I was finding reasons left and right to take the bike for a spin, and it surprisingly hasn't gotten old after 6 months (maybe that's because I've been riding dad's passion plus for 5 years before this so there's a massive difference)Compared to its closest rival, the classic 350, the jawa stands out in a crowd like a sore thumb. The matte black 2.1 edition won my heart and gave me more second looks from other people than a re can. All 3 colors look great, and I do not regret choosing the black option one bit. Things like alloy wheels, bar-end mirrors, off-set racing stripe, 'classic legends' engravings and embellishments all over the body, and functioning dual exhaust are all standard in the bike and go a long way to make the bike look like something from a higher price range. The jawa is easier to maneuver in bustling city streets thanks to a 20 kgs lighter body and slightly neutral position than the classic. The seats are also a bit dense in the jawa, so longer rides will be less painful on your butt. The ~7 bhp difference between the two is pretty noticeable too, and the extra 6th gear is a big advantage on highways (it's an actual gear, not overdrive mode or any other gimmicky thing). The liquid cooling kicks in when needed, and makes a noise that's audible up to 30-40 kmph. Speaking of, I like the quieter but still melodic sound of the jawa more than the classic thumping of a re, which I also like.My biggest fear was regarding the stuff that comes after buying the bike. Like a successful maruti or hyundai, you don't have to lose any sleep over stuff like service centers, parts availability, and affordability if you own a royal enfield. The 1-month/1000 km and 6-month/6,000 km services of my 42 2.1 went by smooth as butter with reminder calls before the service, proper slot booking, and after-service feedback and all. It didn't take more time than other brands, and the quality was good enough. Regarding maintenance, you'll need to perform the regular tasks like chain lubing (this one has o-ring chains so make sure to take care of them) every once in a while. Tubeless tires are a neat addition, and the mileage is similar to the competition wearing classic and meteor badges. But like all things, the 42 isn't perfect. The fit and finish are not as great as enfields, the bar-end mirrors look cool but make you change your head position to get a complete view of what's happening in the back, and the low ground clearance makes me clench my butt when I face a big bump. Turning and handling are easier than re but you'll have to be more precise with your gearing and throttle to stop the engine from stalling. If you want to customize your ride, the re cruisers are still the ones to go for, jawa is new and some places have parts and components to make your ride your own, but it'll take quite a while before it's as accessible as the royal enfield network. So there you have it, I had somewhat of an idea of what I was getting into, and I have to live with a couple of annoying issues, but the pros outweigh the cons by a mile for me, and I do not regret buying the 42 2.1 one bit. The mid-range throttle response is very good, especially in the first 3 gears, and to my surprise, the feeling hasn't worn out yet. Hopefully, now you have a bit more idea about what you're getting into when you walk into the dealership.

No back pain issues for my height. Initially, you feeling heating near to your foot. Later it will cool down. Coolant works fine. Ground clearance. You might feel that center stand is hitting to the ground while crossing the humps.

The bike has very less mileage and touches in Indian ground speed breakers and low capacity two people sit in the bike, even the small speed breaker also touched. The spare part is very costly, service is very poor. Waste of money no quality....

The 42 is more popular because well it’s not stuck in the past like the beautiful but old school Classic Jawa. And to build on this popularity Classic Legends, the company, has introduced the Version 2.1.
This is the more affordable, younger-looking, and as its maker likes to say, open-chested version of the Jawa. It shares the engine, gearbox, cycle parts, and, in fact, almost all of its body work with the standard Jawa. We have already ridden and written about the new Jawa...
