Ultraviolette Bikes

I’ve been riding the Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet for a while now, and overall I’m very happy with it, though there are a few practical compromises that keep it at 4 stars instead of 5. What I love- 1. The performance is insane for an electric – instant torque, strong mid‑range and a proper motorcycle feel rather than just an overgrown scooter. Twist the throttle in Combat or Ballistic mode and it just surges ahead with no lag or gearshifts to think about. 2. Real‑world range is genuinely usable In Glide mode it’s easy to get well over 200 km on a charge, which covers my office runs plus a weekend ride without constant range anxiety. Even when I ride harder in Combat/Ballistic, it still stays around the 180–200 km mark. 3. The riding position is comfortable for daily use. Compared to the earlier, more aggressive F77, the SuperStreet’s more upright stance and slightly relaxed ergonomics make city commutes and longer stints a lot easier on the wrists and back. 4. The tech and dashboard are top‑notch – the 5‑inch TFT is bright, easy to read, and the riding modes, regen levels and connectivity features make the bike feel genuinely modern rather than gimmicky. What could be better- 1. The price is on the higher side By the time you look at the Recon variant and on‑road costs, you are firmly in good 400cc petrol‑bike territory, so you really have to value the performance, tech and EV experience to justify it 2. Weight is still noticeable. While the SuperStreet is easier to handle than the older Mach 2, you can feel the 200‑plus kilos when pushing it around in parking or lifting it off the stand. 3. Fast‑charging and charging‑infrastructure planning are still things you need to think about if you do longer rides; it’s not as carefree as filling petrol anywhere in five minutes.
