Royal Enfield has updated the Hunter 350, for 2025, with a series of changes aimed at improving its comfort and overall ride quality. While the motorcycle retains its urban-friendly character, the latest version adds a few functional upgrades to keep it competitive in the modern retro-roadster space.
The Hunter 350 maintains its neo-retro-roadster design, which has always carried shades of the Triumph Street Twin. Key styling elements include a new LED headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, single-piece seat, and a compact rear fender. The overall design remains minimalistic yet youthful, making it one of the more stylish offerings in the 350cc segment.
Royal Enfield offers the Hunter 350 in two body styles: Retro and Metro. The lineup consists of three variants and a total of 10 colour options. The Retro trim comes in two shades: Factory Black and Factory Silver. Meanwhile, the Metro version is split into Dapper and Rebel colourways, which get five and three paint schemes, respectively.
Powering the Hunter 350 is a 349.34cc, single-cylinder, J-series engine that produces 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and 27Nm at 4,000rpm. The motor is paired with a five-speed gearbox, which now benefits from a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother gearshifts. In terms of competition, it goes up against the Honda CB350RS, Jawa 42, and the TVS Ronin.
The hardware package differs between the two body styles. The Retro variant gets wire-spoke wheels, disc/drum braking setup, and single-channel ABS. The Metro trim, on the other hand, features alloy wheels, disc brakes at both ends, and dual-channel ABS. The Retro version weighs 177kg, while the Metro variant tips the scales at 181kg. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. Royal Enfield has also added fast USB charging as standard.

Engine & Performance:Powered by a 349cc single-cylinder engine (same as the Classic 350 and Meteor 350), the Hunter offers smooth and refined performance. It’s not built for high-speed thrills, but it delivers strong low-end torque, making city riding effortless. Gear shifts are smooth, and the engine feels relaxed even in traffic.Ride & Handling:This is where the Hunter truly shines. Its lighter weight and shorter wheelbase make it easy to manoeuvre through busy streets. The suspension setup is slightly firm, which helps in handling but can feel stiff on rough roads. Overall, it’s one of the most agile Royal Enfield bikes available.

The Perfect Urban Rebel My Hunter 350

Buying the Hunter 350 has been one of my best decisions. The buying experience was smooth, and the bike's retro-modern look is a head-turner on every street. The riding experience is where it truly shines—it is incredibly nimble and agile, making it perfect for zipping through city traffic. The 350 cc engine provides excellent low-end torque and a smooth performance that feels refined even at higher speeds. The seating position is comfortable for daily commutes, and the exhaust note is just the right amount of "thump."Maintenance has been hassle-free so far, and the servicing costs are quite reasonable for a bike in this segment.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Standard
Rush
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is praised as a fun, agile, city-friendly roadster with a smooth, torquey J-series engine, making it great for beginners and daily commutes, offering nimble handling, retro styling, and good value, though its stiffer rear suspension and lack of top-end power limit highway touring comfort and it's often considered pricey for some, with 2025 updates adding slipper clutch and minor suspension tweaks to improve it further.

Overall it’s a very good bike under 2 lac

Owning this 350cc machine for the past 7,000 kilometres has been nothing short of exhilarating. Right from the first ride, the bike impressed me with its sheer performance and reliability. The braking system is top‑notch, offering precise control and confidence even at higher speeds. Whether navigating city traffic or cruising on highways, the stopping power feels sharp and dependable, making every ride safer and more enjoyable. When it comes to comfort, the bike is reasonably good for solo rides or with a pillion of average build. However, it’s worth noting that it isn’t the most comfortable option for two big‑sized riders. The seating and ergonomics lean more toward sporty practicality rather than plush touring comfort. That said, for everyday use and occasional long rides, it holds up well. One of the standout features is its mileage of nearly 40 km/l, which is remarkable for a 350cc bike. This efficiency makes it not only fun to ride but also economical to maintain, especially considering the rising fuel costs. Under the price bracket of two lakh rupees, this bike truly feels like a gem—delivering performance, style, and value that’s hard to beat in its segment.

Worst service and bike
Vishwanath Jha
I bought this bike for its brand value, but there are a lot of issues with it. The brakes fail unexpectedly, even on crowded roads, though they start working again after a few minutes. The battery got damaged within just 6 months. When I took the bike for service at Khanna Motors, Ranchi, the gear was found tilted inward and started getting stuck. We gave it for servicing to get the issue fixed, but they ended up making the problem worse.

Post taking delivery, while going home, I observed that the bike engine is going off when slowing down. Took the vehicle to the showroom, and they asked me to take it to the service Center. It has been 3 days since they could identify the issue. I found one more new vehicle with a sensor issue more than 7 days in the service Center. Not sure how many vehicles like PAN India.

This is a great bike with very good comfort

Krishiv
This is a great bike with very good comfort and performance. It has great mileage, and it is easy to ride and very comfortable. It is flabbergasting that it lasted for so much time and it lasted less around with great servicing for 15 years. At least it is the best bike ever song from Royal Enfield, and it is affordable and easy to get, and it has many play many different types of colours and types of engines you can get, and it varies from two lakh to 11.5 lakh.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Top

Royal Enfield failed to update the split seat in the RE Hunter. Almost all bike of this company comes with a split seat. Split seat gives a good look, and all the company's cruiser bike has it. But the hunter is just a cost-cutting cut high priced with no reason. Why does Royal Enfield give all updates once? They have to learn from Jawa bikes, which gives a super look with its split seat design, even if this bike has a lower seat height than RE. I don't know why RE has given flop sporty look to the cruiser bike 350 CC engine.
