KTM RC 125 Summary
KTM RC 125 is a sports bike available in only 1 variant and 2 colours. The KTM RC 125 is powered by 124.7cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 14.34 bhp and a torque of 12 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, KTM RC 125 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This RC 125 bike weighs 160 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 13.7 liters.
The KTM RC 125 receives heavy updates for 2022 in the styling, features and mechanical departments. With a completely new bodywork that has been inspired by the KTM RC8, the RC 125 might look less sharper but is seemingly more aerodynamic than before. It sports a bubble type visor along with re-designed fairing and fuel tank. The distinctive twin projector lamps have made way for a single halogen unit with the turn indicators fitted on the fairing. Even the sub-frame has been tweaked and the pillion seat is now flatter and more spacious.
All of the revisions to the bodywork have resulted in a 3.4kg weight reduction, even though the 2022 RC 125 gets a bigger, 13.7-litre fuel tank. Underneath, the 124cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine has received minor changes like a larger airbox that is said to offer better lower-end torque. KTM has also revised the radiator so that the RC 125 runs cooler.
In terms of features, the new KTM RC 125 features an LCD instrument cluster, a much-needed change over the dated, orange-backlit unit it came with earlier. While the suspension setup consisting of a WP-sourced inverted forks up front and a monoshock at the rear, is similar to the older gen, the braking setup have been revised. The RC 125 now uses a 320mm disc up front that is bigger than 200mm disc it used previously. On the other hand, the 230mm rear disc remains the same. Moreover, the RC 125 now sports lighter, 5-spoke wheels.
In terms of competition, it will take on the Yamaha R15 V4 in India.

Instead of buying RC125, it's better to go for RC200, Suzuki Gixxer 150 or the best Yamaha R15. This bike is way too costly and the new Ferring seems a bit uncool. The pillion height has increased as well. Talking about mileage it's okay but won't be able to take this bike for a longer ride.

I bought a KTM rc 125cc bike as my first sports bike. I find it worth investing in this brand. I loved sports bikes with aesthetic looks and good mileage. Under a 2lac budget, it's the best sports option for crowded cities, so I bought it.The pickup of the bike is so good, the seats and overall posture and driving experience of this bike while driving are more comfortable than other bikes in the same price segment I have driven.The looks and feel of the bike are great and it feels costlier than actually it is. The average mileage in my city is around 32-34kmpl which is very good for a daily user therefore it can be used for daily purposes as the running cost is less.Servicing is easy and affordable. But maintenance is somewhat hard as you need to go smoothly with the bike. Little things can put scratches on it. And it's a little bit heavy so the parking space should be even. So many service centers are easily available in the city.Talking overall you should buy this if you like sports bikes and have a budget of approx 2lac. You can use it as your primary option for daily use. As running cost is low and the bike is fast.But if you are into some rough job like field work then you need to think first because rough handling can cause damage to the bike and body. So maintenance is hard. But I loved my bike and I would say it's all in one. Good mileage, comfortable seating, easy servicing, under budget, low running cost. If you can do good care of it you should buy it.

Buy this if you want to waste money

I don't know why this bike is so pricey if you get 25000 more you will get a power 200 cc ktm, and the mileage is also the same as this bike, I fully recommend you to not buy this bike in any manner for 2.2 lakhs. You will get a powerful 250cc bike or u will get mt15 power and mileage in 2 lakh, the waste bike ever in India, for 2.2 lakh you can buy these bikes instead of ktm 1251. Mt152. Pulsar 220f3. Rs2004. Ns 2005. Dominor 250These are more powerful and more fuel-efficient bikes than this 125 cc ktm.

Don't buy this bike you can buy 200cc bike with this price

Waste of buying this bikeAt this price, we will get a legendary bike with 220ccPower + milageThen why this 125 cc bike is so costly?Ktm should take care of this issueKtm rc 200 and duke 200 are good bikesBut this 125 cc ktm is horrible and a waste of moneyAt this price, we will get a 220cc powerful bike and milage around 40But this 125 cc bike doesn't even give 38kmplDon't waste your money.

Safest 125 cc ever. because of lower cc.

Planning to buy this for my daily rides and tour purpose.1st point is, mileage2nd one is, it's not a high-speed bike. So we easily ride around 100kmph speed. Its safety.Using Hornet 160r. But now planning to buy RC 125. Loved the 2022 model design. Really eye catchy. Same as rc 200 & 390.Needs rear abs too.
