After discontinuing the Pulsar 220F in India for a few months, Bajaj Auto is all set to bring back the motorcycle in the market. It has already started arriving at dealerships and select dealers are even accepting bookings for the bike. These might be indications that the official launch of the Pulsar 220F isn’t too far.
Bajaj had discontinued the Pulsar 220F in 2022 to make way for the new-age 250cc Pulsars in Bajaj’s portfolio. However, the demand for the 220 certainly hasn’t deteriorated, especially in some parts of the country like the Southern region. Now, whether Bajaj will introduce it in select markets or across India is something not yet confirmed.
As can be observed from the spy images, Bajaj hasn’t executed any visual changes to the bike. It continues to sport a half-faired design with a huge front fascia, a muscular fuel tank, and a long tail with a split-type seat. In terms of features, it will expectedly be the same as the previous bike with an LED projector headlamp, LED tail lamp, semi-digital console, and a 15-litre fuel tank.
The engine and hardware package of the Pulsar 220F will also probably be the same. It is powered by a 220cc, oil-cooled engine that produces 20.11bhp and 18.55Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. Suspended on telescopic forks up front and old-school dual springs at the rear, the Pulsar 220F rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. Bringing this 160kg machine to a halt is a single disc at both ends accompanied by a single-channel ABS setup.

If one bike that handles a family of four, a couple and two kids with sporty and performance oriented feel is 220f. Enjoying every mile in it. Excellent control and powerful brakes and very quick and swift torque. Looks are unbeatable. I guess only bike that retains 16-17 years old design because it is timeless.

I am a proud user of the Bajaj Pulsar 220, and it is one of the best bikes I have ever ridden. The bike is known for its powerful 220cc engine and smooth performance on both city roads and highways. As a user, I really enjoy its fast pickup and comfortable riding position, which makes long rides enjoyable and less tiring. The projector headlamp gives excellent visibility at night, and the bike’s sporty design always attracts attention on the road. It also features strong brakes and good road grip, making it a safe and reliable ride. The mileage is decent for a powerful bike. I usually get around 35–40 km per litre, depending on the road conditions.

Self start problem

Rahul
I purchased before 1.5 years ago, but the self-start problem has not been resolved by the service Centre's and the bike vibration is continuous, so the bike ride is not enjoyable and comfortable. Bajaj Pulsar 220 F is a bike, but some problems are written above, so please suggest giving kick start because of any problems.

Youth icon & Stylish bike.Looks like a BULL ButEngine performance like a Cheetah.Always my dream bike.Pulsar 220.I chose this bike in 2018, and I used this bike for 4 years. This bike maintenance costs very little. Years are going but bike performance is like New, that engine sound and horn sound very unique. Till now, I want the Pulsar 220; many designs are coming, but never beat this bike design and style. I want to buy this dream bike again.

No doubt the bike is very Good in power pickup, but the build quality is poor, and the design boring and irritating chain set sound, and the fiber body on the tank and behind the pillion seat, the body of the bike sound rather losing bolt, etc.. especially when you think about sports bike. you always require smooth engine sound, colorful design, sharp edges, etc.

Owned from 2015 onwards. Good performance city mileage 35 kmpl highways long ride up to 40 kmpl stylish service costs approximate up to Rs, 2000 to 2500. every 5000 kms needs to improve suspensions like Rs 200. Also altering the front doom set like r15 means looks more good to visually looking. For 220 performances with the average cost. I like it.
