1. I used to own pulsar 150 before this (5 years) i always wanted to buy a cruise bike but couldn't afford it, and when avenger street came, i bought it that month itself. Classy and sexy look with good maintenance cost.2. Unlike other bikes, i personally find it perfect even for long ride. There in no tension on the wrist, and back.3. Look wise i would say its just too eye catching. I personally like the styling of the bike, the side profile of the bike looks just too stunning.4. I don't know about other place but so far so good for servicing, its just that some mechanic at the service center are not trained well, sometimes they can't even detect small wiring problems. After buying for about a year it didn't gave me any problems at all except the battery which went bad in 3-4 months, i had to push and start before getting new battery other than that no major changes except engine oil and brake.5. I would say this bike is affordable with low cost maintenance, unlike those other cruiser bike it won't make a hole in our pocket, the styling is good, comfortable riding, good mileage. Cons: i would say the battery which went bad just about 3-4 months, i don't know how or why. And the chain sprocket needs to be taken care of frequently or else it makes noise easily, but that's not big issue for we can do ourselves at home.

Take care of the chain sprocket timely, no need to change it when it makes sound, just clean it well with kerosene and brush(e.g tooth brush) after that let it try and apply chain lubricant if u have or engine oil/greese. As a bike owner you must all know that we should change Oil before too long . So it doesn't mean if u changed your oil just few months ago, but u have driven more than 3-4K KM , change oil.

Way back in 2005 there were only a few cruiser motorcycles. One of them was the bajaj avenger. It made you feel like a king and with it being made in India, it didn’t cost you a pretty penny either. The bajaj avenger had undergone some engine changes in the past, but now they’ve revamped their range. Meet the cruise 220, the street 220 and the street 150. But since the street 220 and the cruise 220 are mechanically the same we’ll skip the street 220 for now and go for a spin on the cruise 220 and the street 150.

1. Basically i love the avenger series rather than a sports bike. The length which adds more style even than enfield bikes.
Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox
1. Engine is typically has good pickup for street 150, street 220 who be even better. The gear movement is smooth and re-engineered well since avenger series born.
2. Fuel economy i usually get around 40 in city limit, 43-44km in highway.
Ride quality & handling
1. Avenger is known for it's comfort. This is not typically over-imagation but a truth. I tested it before buying, got my friends bike and rode from chennai-pondicherry-chennai. All my friends got backpain with thier (yamaha yz, classic 250, karizma) but i didnt :)
final words
if you want to choose a bike with more comfort, sytle and attraction on the road. Just go for it.
If you ride more in city, choose street 150/220. If you ride more outstation/long ride, take curise 220.
Areas of improvement
only one problem, my fuel indicators does not show accurate. I just went for 1st service but they are not able to solve it.
Pros
style, comfort, performance
cons

A royal and comfortable bike with aswome look. Read more for more in details
6 years ago
Pushpendra
1. Buying experience- i bought used bike from olx. Previous owner mentioned it nicely and i got good deal also. I had little difficulties to get the bike transfer on my name as i am from different state. At rto they requested to get rent agreement and police verification and other id proofs.
2. Riding experience- bajaj street is quite comfortable bike to ride as it has wide sheet and handling is very comfortable. Indicator meter is on petrol tank which becomes difficult to see and sometime you will forget to turn it off however you can install a indicator buzzer to avoid this and will add safety to you and other riders on road.
As name suggests street 150 itself says that this is the bike for them who wants to have nice and comfortable bike in budget and wanna ride on city and sometimes on highways.
3. Details about look, performance- look of this bike is amazing i have got it in blue colour. A nice cruiser with awesome look, long, good height. By adding windshield, big rear mirror and head light cap will make your bike more attractive.
This bike will give you the average of 40 - 45kmpl, that's quite good compare to other cruiser bikes.
4. Servicing and maintenance- you should get your bike serviced regularly in about 2 to 3 months or in 2000 km which will keep your bike healthy and will give good mileage and also will avoid any damages to your bike. Servicing will cost you around 600 - 800 rs depending on city to city.
You also can buy a metal polish and a nice cloth to wipe your bike..Do not park your bike in open place s for longer time . Try to protect your bike from sun, dust and rain or clean or bike immediately to avoid fade in colour.
5 . Pros and cons- at last i would say this is very good royal bike to buy new or old.

Good from out side but have really bad engine
6 years ago
Pranoy Radiya
Buying experience was bad because it was not available, riding is good undoubtedly good, looks are superb and performance is okay,
Service is pathetic worst and really worst as service centre is operated by a local mechanic, and the part quality is cheap very cheap. Engine makes noise like a diesel engine. Bajaj needs to improve on engine quality, it's really bad.
Good looks really nice comfort. Bad engine and worst quality.
I wish that i could get a honda engine fixed in my avenger.
This is my experience since i am owing this since 11 months and few days for 1 years.
Changed chain sproket after 9000+ km's.

I got this bike for 89k and i didn't even had a test ride of this before.
Pros :
Highly comfort.
Mileage 50 kmpl.
Midnight blue is classy. Don't opt any other colour.
Cons :
But one bad thing is parts are not of that quality..
Engine goes ruff if service is not done properly.
No place holder to keep things.
Side carrier clip, not in a good position. Hits tyre if we hook bags.

Bajaj avenger

Ravinder
Way back in 2005 there were only a few cruiser motorcycles. One of them was the bajaj avenger. It made you feel like a king and with it being made in India, it didn’t cost you a pretty penny either. The bajaj avenger had undergone some engine changes in the past, but now they’ve revamped their range. Meet the cruise 220, the street 220 and the street 150. But since the street 220 and the cruise 220 are mechanically the same we’ll skip the street 220 for now and go for a spin on the cruise 220 and the street 150.

A stylish cruiser - for a smart ride

Style
Pros
style, comfort, performance
cons
fuel indicator
