The Bajaj Platina 100 is a fuel-efficient and affordable motorcycle designed for everyday commuting, especially in rural areas. It offers a step up from Bajaj's most basic CT models – the CT100 and the CT110. The Platina comes in two variants – kick start and electric start. It also boasts knuckle guards for better rider protection.
Powering the Platina is a BS6-compliant, 102cc, fuel-injected engine that delivers a decent 7.8bhp and 8.34Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a four-speed gearbox with a user-friendly all-down shift pattern. The motorcycle prioritises fuel efficiency with its 13-litre fuel tank and fuel injection technology, which is expected to offer a slight improvement in mileage compared to the models that come with a carburettor.
Comfort is a key feature of the Platina 100. It boasts a compliant suspension for a smooth ride, comfortable seat, rubber footpads for better grip, and directional tyres for confident handling. The motorcycle maintains a classic look with a black frame, exhaust, and grab rails, contrasted by a silver crankcase and wheels.
The Platina 100 rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and benefits from Bajaj's Comfortec suspension for enhanced comfort. Drum brakes handle braking duties on both ends, while the electric start version can be optionally equipped with a front disc brake for improved stopping power. The Platina 100 competes against the Honda Dream Neo, TVS Star City Plus, and the Hero HF Deluxe. It is offered in four colour palettes – black and red, black and silver, black and gold, and black and blue.

This is one of the most famous and comfortable bikes. and the mileage of this bike is also superb. I like and enjoy its ride on long routes. In comparison to other ones, this is the best choice and because its fuel costs are also very low 75-90 kmpl average is very good and overall it's the best bike.

I'm happy to own this bike and very glad that Bajaj company made Platina love this segment and hope you are also. The bike mileage is too good but 1 mistake I feel that this bike's accelerator wire has opened so catching dust easily and the wire tightly works. I clean it every service. sometimes accelerator is automatically high. overall good

My bike was purchased in 2008 and we have been using it very heavily like for long journeys around 200 to 300 km and it never gave us any trouble. The mileage of the bike is quite high in these more valued petrol rates and 2023. on average it gives 75 to 80 mileage and awesome control over driving and maintenance, and the cost of all objects like oil, and any parts are also a little low cost compared to other bikes. The bike was even used to travel with trouble riding in our village sometimes and it gives some good torque and power in heavy loads also. I drove my bike with the company-sealed tire which came with the bike in front for almost 8 years. The best things about the bike are it still looks a little new, is smooth even now, has good heavy-duty parts, reliability and Almost The cost of the bike at that time was just around 40 thousand with all the extra fittings and all other expenses, we have never changed any parts of the bike until now except the tires, clutch plates, chain sprocket, brake shoes and that is it. These are common changes to be made in every vehicle. The alloy wheels still look brand new, the horn is still working, lights, and everything are great, overall the things I love about my bike are, mileage, power, reliability, the life of the parts, and the low costs of the parts if anything needs a change.
