The Splendor Plus Xtec is a more contemporary variant of the standard Splendor Plus. It offers slightly different colour options from the standard iteration and sports additional features.
The Splendor Plus Xtec gets a fully digital instrument cluster, which, the company claims, is the first in the segment. This console is Bluetooth-enabled and gives access to call and SMS alerts besides showing real-time mileage. Hero has also equipped the motorcycle with a USB charger, which is another uncommon bit in this segment.
As for the engine, the Splendor Plus Xtec gets its power from a 100cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that makes around 8bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 8.05Nm at 6,000rpm. This unit comes mated to a four-speed gearbox and is highly revered for returning impressive fuel efficiency.
As of now, this motorcycle is available only in the drum brake version. The rest of the cycle parts like suspension, seat, and tyres are the same as those of the base Splendor Plus. This bike is currently available in three colour options – blue, grey, and white.

It is one of the best commuter motorcycles in India for riders who prioritise mileage, reliability, and low maintenance. Powered by a 97.2cc engine, it delivers smooth performance for daily city commuting while maintaining excellent fuel efficiency. The claimed mileage is around 73 kmpl, and many owners report real-world mileage of around 60–65 kmpl depending on riding conditions. What makes the XTEC version special is its modern technology. Features like a fully digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, call and SMS alerts, real-time mileage display, LED DRL, and i3S idle-stop system give it a premium feel compared to the standard Splendor. The bike is lightweight, easy to handle in traffic, and offers a comfortable riding position for daily office commutes, college rides, and family use. Maintenance costs remain low, which is one of the biggest reasons behind the Splendour's popularity.Pros: Excellent mileage Reliable and low-maintenance engine Bluetooth connectivity and digital console Comfortable for daily commuting Strong resale valueCons:Not suitable for high-speed touringBasic performance compared to 125cc bikes Limited power for highway overtakingRating: 4.5/5 If your goal is a dependable, fuel-efficient, and feature-rich commuter bike, the Hero Splendor Plus XTEC is an excellent choice and remains one of the smartest purchases in the 100cc segment.

One thing I liked is that it doesn’t try too hard to be something it’s not. It’s not pretending to be sporty or premium—it just focuses on practicality. That said, if you’re looking for power or aggressive styling, this probably isn’t your bike.Overall, the Splendor Xtec Plus feels like a smart choice for everyday use—reliable, efficient, and now a bit more tech-friendly without overcomplicating things.

Quality problem

Sony
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recently purchased Hero Splendor Plus motorcycle. Within just a month of purchase, I noticed rust appearing not only on the carrier but also on several bolts of the vehicle. This is extremely disappointing for a brand like Hero, as I had trusted the quality and durability of your products. I take good care of my vehicle and ensure it is parked and maintained properly, so I believe this issue is due to a manufacturing or quality problem.Kindly look into this matter and arrange for an inspection. Thank you

Worst Bike I’ve Ever Owned Hero Spleder Xtec

Pawan Singh
I rarely leave reviews, but this bike truly deserves one.Within one Battery stop to work and chainset loose every 15 days. Now, after 14000 KM mechanic told that it is not possible to tighten this chain you may change it.I would not recommend this bike to anyone. Save your money and go for something with better quality. It’s not worth the hassle!.

Here's the upUnsatisfactory Experience with Splendor Plus XTec: A Horrible Way to Waste Hard-Earned Money
46 weeks ago
Sudarshan
Dear Hero Customer Care,I'm extremely disappointed with my Splendor Plus XTec. Despite being barely 1.5 years old with 24,800 kms, I've experienced multiple failures, including:- Key set failure- ECU failure- Indicator issues that worsen in the rainy season- Sudden stops that pose a major safety concern- Gear shifting issues, especially when shifting from top to first gear while driving, which can lead to accidents- Fuel gauge not working accuratelyEngine performance issues and visible scratches/dents add to the woes. I'm selling it as is due to these recurring problems. I expect better quality and reliability from Hero. Urgent attention is required to address these issues.

Gorgeous feeling with depth of ride. An earlier variation of the model. This is one of the foundational spirits of Honda, which they have spread in the spirit of humans. Within the minimalist cost variations Honda is capable of sustaining the environment to push the Option of E. 20 fuel injectionThis step will make our country self-reliant and reduce dependency on othersThank Honda
