Hero MotoCorp has extended its Xtec line-up with the launch of the new Passion XTEC. The XTEC badge brings additional features to the commuter motorcycle. These include a new LED headlight and a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity that gives access to SMS and call alerts. However, it misses out on the turn-by-turn navigation function. The motorcycle also gets a side-stand engine cut-off sensor as well as service reminders.
Although the Passion XTEC gets a revised design for the headlight, the styling cues remain similar to the standard model. Other design elements include a tinted flyscreen, body-coloured headlight cowl, fuel tank shrouds, single-piece saddle, body-coloured pillion grabrail, and a side-slung exhaust. The motorcycle retains the 110cc, single-cylinder engine from the standard model. Linked to a four-speed gearbox, the motor develops 9bhp and 9.79Nm. Further, it gets the company’s i3S technology for better fuel economy.
The hardware comprises conventional telescopic forks and dual rear shocks to handle the suspension tasks. The braking setup on the base model includes drum units on both ends. The company also offers a front disc brake version of the motorcycle. All variants get combined braking system.
The Hero Passion XTEC rivals the likes of Honda Livo in the Indian market.

Great speed, great throttle response
Sandeep
Speed is very good but the bike goes solo. The throttle response is amazing. Built quality is such that it won't go anywhere in 15 years if the engine oil is changed at the proper time. Disc variant should be chosen for better braking. Now the design and graphics look too cool. This bike is made to carry loads and to live a long life. Safety is better than smaller bikes such as Splender and Hf Deluxe. Consider this.

Don't let the looks decive you, but fantastic in mileage (70kmpl)but looks like it's dropping now due to issues

Got the bike quick and easy process Pros: Looks better than most of the average commuter's *Brakes are ok*Mileage of 70kmpl fabulous Cons:Having the gear issue from day oneGears keep grinding or decide to just fall to lower gear which almost put me in fatal situations.Service people don't give a shit instead they fought with me and I continuously rant about the problem. Since been quiet about the gearbox issueThe engine decides to cut off on low rpm even if the clutch is pressedThe ignition switch doesn't work after some monthsNow feels like due to all the engine issues mileage dropped to 50 now Not the best handling in corners and wobbles crazily above 70kmphHeadlight sucks ass. Can't see shit at night times even the high beam is uselessAnd the tank is empty even though it has 2+ liters Now having a starting issueThe i3s system doesn't workChain noises keep coming back even after changing the sprocket send and bush set 2 days before.I love the connection I built with the bike. It's not the fault of the bike it's the fault of the manufacturer. And service people If thinking of buying don't buy.Almost had this love-hate relationship with this bike for 25000kms and 3+ years now

Third class bike with lot of issue, and worst service by riddhi hero
19 weeks ago
Safi
The bike is the worst, has a lot of issues with the engine, and the mileage is not good, The Riddhi Hero service centre is not a service centre it's a roadside garage-type facility.Never buy any hero bike. My earlier bike was Hero Passion XPRO which is still running well but now Hero has downgraded their built quality, and engine performance so I will never buy any bike from Hero and will switch to HONDA.

When riding the bike engine gets off immediately when we try to cut the gear or while we try to hold the clutch to reduce the gear. On the first day itself, the problem started till now the problem has not been resolved by the hero company service center. I think this is a manufacturing defect or this model Hero Passion Xtec is a failed model in my opinion.

Gear and clutch very poor

I bought Passion Xtec such a poor bike gear stuck many times service centre has no professional service engineers. And there is no solution after multiple complaints. I think mileage also going down due to gear hard shifting even though I had this problem from day 1. Burari has no good service centre and in fact, no one dealing with good manners.

A stylish headlamp, Alloy wheels, and vibrant color super good-looking bike in this range my personal experience about this bike is for daily commuting. it's smooth handling and comfortable ride, even on rough roads. The suspension system ensures stability, and the braking system offers excellent stopping power, enhancing safety. Mileage is also good around 60km/lit. Pros: Stylish and modern design Advanced features like Bluetooth connectivity and real-time mileage display excellent fuel efficiency comfortable ride and good handling.Cons: High seating position might be uncomfortable for shorter riders overall, but the Hero Passion X-TEC is a solid choice for those looking for a stylish and fuel-efficient commuter bike with modern features. However, potential buyers should be aware of the reported issues and consider a test ride to ensure it meets their needs.

1. The buying experience was smooth, apart from not getting my favorite color black which was out of stock, it was a better smoother experience from the sales department of the Kalyan Hero Puzhakkal branch.2. Riding experience about seating needs an extra cushion while riding gears get stuck often, the engine gets cut off at low rpm, the petrol indication is wrong, required a minimum of 2 L for the fuel pump to work.3. Looks are fine, bad quality switch especially the ignition which stopped working within weeks of purchase.4. Service from Kalyan Hero is fine.5. Pros: Looks good, fairly comfortable ride.Cons: The engine keeps cutting off at low RPM.Very bad brakeing. Literally no brakes.Low mileage compared with other 113 cc bikes. My advice go for another bike like a SP 125 if you have money to spend.

Worst bike ever
Vinod
It's the most terrible buy. The very day I went for a test ride, the bike had stopped all of a sudden and the showroom mechanic had to come to check it. I thought maybe water got into the petrol tank since it was raining. And went on to purchase it purely for its looks, refinement, engine sound, mileage, and moreover trust in Hero. It was the worst decision. Using it for more than 2 years now and till now its problems have been intact. Service staff have never been able to fix it. If they do, then the same problem begins right within 2 days and sometimes times the next day itself. Every time the engine turns off automatically when you hold the clutch. Pros-1. Looks2. Engine soundCons-1. Turns off automatically after you hold the clutch in between traffic. 2. Doesn't start on the starter and even takes many kicks to get started like old Yezdi bikes literally.3. Doesn't have good road grip. 4. Very light, heavy winds literally shake the front wheel and handle.
