I am riding this bike for the last 10 months, and it's been a great experience, especially with the services provided by the service centre. Looks are awesome. Also, the roadside assistance was good, as I once needed it due to a wheel breakdown midway.Riding this bike is a whole new experience.

I bought this bike recently and I really like it. The buying experience was nice and the showroom people were friendly and explained everything properly. The bike looks very cool and gets attention on the road. Riding is comfortable and smooth, especially on normal roads, but on very bad roads, it can feel a little rough. The performance is good, and it has enough power for daily use and short trips. One thing is that the mileage is not very high, so you have to spend more on petrol. Service cost is okay, but not very cheap. Maintenance is not too difficult if you take care of it properly. I would say clean the bike regularly and do service on time.Overall, I am happy with my bike, and I enjoy riding it a lot

Crazy Jawa

The Jawa 42 Bobber is a stylish cruiser motorcycle known for its unique bobber design, low stance, and strong road presence. It comes with a 334 cc liquid-cooled engine that produces around 29.9 PS power and 30 Nm torque, offering good pickup and smooth performance with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike is popular among riders who like retro-modern styling and mostly ride solo, as it features a floating single seat and minimalist body design. It delivers a mileage of about 25 km/l and has a 12.5 L fuel tank. However, the bike may feel less comfortable for long rides due to its stiff suspension and single-seat setup, and its low ground clearance can be challenging on rough roads or speed breakers. Overall, the Jawa 42 Bobber is a great choice for riders who prioritise style, performance, and a distinctive cruiser look rather than everyday practicality.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS JAWA DEALERSHIP – EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE & UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIORI am writing this review after repeated bad experiences with EV Trades (Jawa) – Sahibabad Satyam enclave Branch and Meerut Industrial area Ghaziabad main branch. I own a Jawa 42 Bobber, and from the day of purchase, my experience has been disappointing and stressful.1. Extremely Poor Service ExperienceI recently gave my bike for service.:Before visiting, I called the manager (Mr. Nitin) and confirmed my visit. I clearly informed him that I would be coming and requested quick delivery. He agreed. However, despite reaching at 1 PM, my bike was only handed over at 7 PM. Six hours for a basic service, after prior confirmation. This level of delay shows complete disregard for customers' time.2. Charging Port Issue – Careless & Dismissive Attitude :I reported a charging port issue. Instead of properly checking or diagnosing the problem, the manager simply instructed staff to say the required part was unavailable and to pack the bike. This is not service. This is avoidance. The behavior was careless, unprofessional, and clearly showed a lack of interest in solving customer issues.3. Fake / Aftermarket Accessory Installed at Time of Purchase :When I purchased my bike, I also bought a back seat accessory from the same showroom.Later, I discovered that the seat installed was not the genuine original accessory but appeared to be an aftermarket one. When I complained, I was told “this is how it comes.”After seeing other Jawa 42 Bobbers with clearly different original seats, I raised the issue again. I had to follow up for 1.5–2 months and repeatedly contact customer care before the issue was finally resolved. No customer should have to struggle for months for something that should have been correct at delivery.4. Poor Build Quality & Constant IssuesParts feel weak :Screws come loose frequentlyRust develops quicklyComponents break easilyService bills are high without proper quality assuranceFor a premium-looking motorcycle like the Jawa 42 Bobber, the quality does not match the expectations.5.Alignment Issue Ignored Since Day One :From the time of purchase, my bike has had a left-tilt alignment issue. I raised this concern at delivery itself. I was told, “All Jawa 42 Bobbers are like this.”This is completely false. I have personally checked other bikes, and they are properly centered and aligned. Even now, the issue is being ignored instead of being resolved.6. Suspicious System Records Showing Another Customer’s Name :Whenever staff check the system, another person’s name (Mr. Anas) appears linked to my vehicle. When questioned, they give vague excuses saying it is just a system entry issue. How can another customer’s name appear on my vehicle record? This raises serious concerns about transparency and authenticity.7.Insurance Claim – Old Parts Reinstalled :After an accident, I gave my bike for insurance claim repairs. Shockingly, instead of installing new parts (as required in insurance claims), it appears that my old damaged parts were reinstalled. This is unacceptable and unethical.Final ThoughtsThis dealership has consistently shown:Poor customer handlingUnprofessional managementLack of transparencyDelayed serviceQuestionable practicesI strongly advise potential buyers to think carefully before purchasing from this dealership. If this is the level of after-sales service, the brand image is being severely damaged.I will also be escalating this matter to higher authorities. And also company claims an average of 30 km but it gives an average of 18km only, a big false accusation by the company

The Jawa 42 Bobber is a "heart over head" purchase. If you’re looking for a motorcycle that turns every head on the street, this factory-custom machine is in a league of its own. Looks & Buying The aesthetic is the biggest draw. With its low-slung stance, floating single seat, and bar-end mirrors, it looks like a custom project right off the showroom floor. Buying is straightforward at Jawa-Yezdi dealerships, but be prepared for a "solo" life—there is no pillion option. Riding & Performance Powered by a 334cc liquid-cooled engine , the performance is punchy. It’s a "peaky" motor that loves to be revved, offering great mid-range torque for city overtakes. However, the riding experience is marred by stiff rear suspension and noticeable vibrations once you cross 80–90 km/h. Its low $740\text{mm}$ seat height makes it very accessible, but the low ground clearance means you’ll scrape speed breakers if not careful. Service & Maintenance The service experience is a mixed bag. While the $6,000\km service interval is generous, spare parts availability can be a headache, with owners often reporting long wait times. Service costs are moderate, usually ranging from ₹2,000 to ₹3,500 per visit. The Breakdown Pros: Stunning retro-modern design, addictive exhaust note, slipper clutch, and great road presence. Cons: Stiff ride quality, engine heating in heavy traffic, lack of practicality (zero luggage space), and vibrations at high revs .Maintenance Tips for Owners Engine Oil: Though the manual says $6,000, change your oil every $3,000km for a smoother, cooler engine. Chain Care: The exposed chain attracts grime; clean and lube it every $500\km to avoid premature sprocket wear. Heat Management: Avoid applying PPF or wraps on the tank until after the first two services, as the initial engine heat can cause the adhesive to bubble .Rust Prevention: Use an anti-rust spray on the chrome and exposed bolts during monsoons, as Jawas are prone to surface spotting.

The fun of riding this bike is not really explained. Once this bike is ridden, and it does not want to stop, and what people are looking at, everyone says what the bike. And if some meter tow features were given, it would have been better. The mileage is not too bad. Every time I see this bike, I fall in love with it.

Total waste of money. 💰 Do not buy Jawa bikes. I’ve been waiting for a bike spare part for over 4 months, with no response from the service centres. My bike has been unusable for 4 months. The company seriously needs to improve service quality and hire responsive staff at service centres.............

I purchased a new Jawa 42, and within just 700 km, the bike stopped suddenly on the roadside. I took it to the service center, but the problem was not properly fixed. After another 300 km, the same issue happened again — the bike stopped in the middle of the road. The showroom and service center are not providing good service or proper support.I request all customers to think carefully before buying from Jawa. Please check the reviews and service quality first — I am very disappointed with the product and service.
