Reviews of Bajaj Avenger Street 150 [2018]

Bajaj avenger is not made for 150 cc segment. I bought this bike before 2 months.So feel very upset while riding the bike due to below reasons .

1)this bikes cc should not be less than 200.

2] when there are 2 people on bike, its struggles for crossing 80.

3) there is no power in this bike.Even a 125 cc honda shine can leave it back in performance testing.

4)there is no weight in front side of bike due to which it slips too much

5) so i personally recommendations don't go for this bike instead buy 220 or above.

6)bajaj should stop this 150 version and continue only 220 or dominar 400 engine

The bike is good...Showroom people are as always very helpful....Spare parts are also easy available and average in cost

riding the bike...This bike is not for those people who are accustomed to normal riding....You won't feel at place for a very very long time...Nonetheless its ok after 4-6 months of use...Then switching to normal bikes looks difficult again...Comfort is good...The low level seat gives a different feel...At turnings u feel a bit awkward...And bumps are felt more....The braking is not up to the mark with both front and back wheel.Locking easily and sliding on the road in addition to long wheel base....But light is awesome

looks are good but performance feels sluggish...U will get decent mileage but u will feel under-powered all the time. Not meant for fast riders at all...No handling stability or pick up

servicing and maintenance quite up to the mark..Depends on the showroom y choose...Bajaj people are great dealers

cons: stability, power/pick up, braking, bumps, low grip tyres

1.This is my first bike and its reliable machine

2.I have rode 1000kms in 2 days for 2 times and bike well performed, not a single breakdown in entire course

3. Reason to buy 150 street would be looks and mileage, if u wish for power try 220

4. Service is the only problem i faced for this bike, poor service they just wash and hand over, doesn't feel change

Buying experience - i bought this bike before bs4 rule so on road price was 85k in nagpur. Now after bs4 engines and gst prices have changed. It was very easy to buy this bike as it was easily available in all stores of bajaj in all color variant.

Riding experience - till the time of writing this review i have ridden 9k km on this bike. The best thing about this bike is its comfort level while riding. As bajaj say "feel like god" the same you will feel while riding it because of it's perfect handle and seat position. Because of it's good handle bar position and brakes and gear position it is very easy and comfortable to ride this bike.

Looks - look wise this is the most unique bike in this range as it is the only cruiser looking bike in this range. Look could have been more attractive if headlights were little bigger.

Performance - i am getting mileage of more than 45 km/l in this which is overall good. This bike easily touches speed of 90 then after that if the road is clear then you may touch top speed of 110 but even at that speed the vibration was not that much.

Issue - the only issue which i find in avenger is the brakes which are bit slow when applied. Back tyre breaks are not so good as they are not disc brake. Also at high speed you will feel lot of air as bike is not having wind shield and it's front is very open make it difficult to drive at high speed.

Servicing - bajaj gives 3 free servicing for this bike. Till now no major issues came in bike.

Pros - easy in riding and comfortable in long rides.

Cons - lack of aerodynamic structure make it difficult to ride on top speed but that is not a demerit because we don't ride at such high speed generally.

Awesome bike made by bajaj, i always feel awesome while i m driving, very comfortable and has good mileage, good bike in this segment also it has less maintenance, i realyl loved it and i enjoyed every ride with my avenger. bajaj has created a very meaning full bike for youngsters and also for value for money

Riding comfortable both for long ride and city ride is good, customized bike with trendy look and performance is awesome and lastly i can say it was light weight bike, it made easy to handle to take some sharp cuttings. Overall it was very classy look with head light design and break system was awesome, which made to stop bike suddenly to prevent accidents in a street as well as in highways.

1) buying experience was nice. The service centre guys were kind and very helpful.

2) the front disc break is really life saviour. Plus the rear wider tyre won't get skid even in hard breaking on wet roads.

3)riding avenger 150 is definitely a head turner. And most importantly the performance of that 150cc engine is so refined and smooth. Bike has a good grunt. It has everything on simpler console. Odometer, trip meter, speedo, fuel indicator,neutral indicator, battery indicator. It has kill switch, pass light, high beam, low beam, parking light. Comfort level is beyond serenity. And the tag line holds true. F.L.G

4)the chain should be lubed for better performance. Which is ease! thanks to open chain assembly. Air filter is easy to clean.

Cons:

1) hazard lights should have given.

2)pulsar series horns should have been there.

3) pilot lamps, gear indicator is missing.

4) if possible rpm metre should have implemented.

5) bajaj tightens nut so much that, it's impossible to unscrew them for general service at home.

Riding is comfortable on highway as well as in the city.Driver seat is very comfortable .Looks very stylish and attractive. Good pick-up. Silent firing makes it even better.Braking system is very good and front disc break is very sharp which is very helpful. Overall very good experience and value for money.

I got this bike for 89k and i didn't even had a test ride of this before.

Pros :

Highly comfort.

Mileage 50 kmpl.

Midnight blue is classy. Don't opt any other colour.

Cons :

But one bad thing is parts are not of that quality..

Engine goes ruff if service is not done properly.

No place holder to keep things.

Side carrier clip, not in a good position. Hits tyre if we hook bags.

I am using bajaj avenger 150 for nearly one year

I feel very comfortable on it

It's a good cruiser bike for daily commuters

Maintenance cost is low

Looks like mini harley davidson

Sitting position is well

Handle bar

Foot rest

Are placed well

Good for daily riders to ride 50 to 100 km

In short it's a complete package for beginners also
