Excellent bike for mumbai roads..!! due to its light weight its so easy to maneuver the vehicle and zip through the mumbai traffic. It has a good set of suspension tyres and seat height. Buy the optional hero xpulse seat cover it really makes your ride comfortable. Not to to its made by hero and thus has low cost of maintenance and high average.

about the xpulse: It is a darn good looking bike. Not many will disagree with this. The bike looks good in all colour more so in pearl white (fi) and red (carb). It is more powerful than the hero impulse 150.The power i felt was almost similar to my sf. Aggressively priced At rs 98,000 ex-showroom it is priced very well. Handling is pretty decent in traffic. Considering the sf i own and the avenger we decided against. The bike just glides over the uneven surfaces and the potholes. You also sit taller than the other bikes and more often than not you’ll find you handle sailing smoothly over the handles of the other bikes. Fuel economy is pretty good too. At around 40–42 kmpl (lesser than sf which gives me close to 50 kmpl) it is not bad for a 200 cc bike. Ground clearance. Not only is this bike tall with good ground clearance but also it was smart of hero to do away with the center stand. In an himalayan, this center stand at times hit the uneven surface. Adjust to suspension. You are allowed a manual 10 point suspension adjustment. This is like a cherry on top of the icing. The digital console is quite elaborate. It gives you a lot of readings like the rpm, gear, speed (of course), date, time, stand, fuel, abs. Hero has also added something called as the gps which is little tacky to understand. So do not completely depend on this feature as its still in early stage of development. But overall this console is likeable and readable. Sf here has a slight edge here though. The japs have tech on their side. Areas of improvements. Headlights: These are round and led lamps. Just like many factory fitted hl these aren’t bright enough. Moreover, the focus is so close to the mudguard that you end up illuminating the mudguard and not the road. Almost 30 % light is blocked by the placement. Seating and ergonomics. The seat is narrow, i felt. After 30 mins of riding my bottoms starting asking me questions. Then again, the seats of my sf are wider. Also my wife was not dissatisfied with the seat arrangement. Standing position. Being an offroader and also consider the condition of the roads due to the metro project, there are stretched of roads where you may prefer standing. Unlike the himalayan, you may have to bend slightly ahead. No issues for smaller distance though. Something strange. I failed to understand why they had to cut the pipe like this to accommodate the exhaust. Hero could’ve definitely done better than this. To sum it all up, i like my sf more. But then again, this was a gift to my wife and she liked it.. Sorry loved it (end of the story). She selected it over the apache 160, avenger 160, hero xtreme 200 s, yamaha fzs, honda hornet. This was after seeing test riding and the attitude of the sales rep at the dealership. In conclusion, the hero xpulse is a great bike which is also friendly on the pockets. I got it for ~ rs1,22,000 onroad (with 5 years od + tp insurance along with rider legal liability). It handles well in traffic and will bring you a smile on your face. So if you’re looking for an offroader but also intend to use it on your daily commute to work then you should go for it. Similarly, if you are looking for a daily commuter and would love to have something extra, then as well you can definitely try it. You may end up taking it home. Coming from the stables of the hero, my assumption is that this stallion’s maintenance will be easier (mine is carb). It will be less expensive and spares would be less costly too. Let me know if you need any more information. Feel free to share and help those who may need it. I have faced a few issues with the abs and the engine. The abs malfunctions and the engine stalls and restarts during a ride. I've brought this to the notice of the service team. The abs component was changed on sunday the 14th of june 2020. The engine cutoff issue also was looked into. It appears to be working fine today.

My dream ride Xpulse200
Omkar
All Hero dealerships are very good in my area. Humble and nice people. Always ready to help you for everything. Riding this bike on bad roads is a gem. The Xpulse200 is supremely comfortable and literally does absorb each and every pothole in your way. Only short riders can't ride it with an ease below 5ft. 7inch. Surely it is head Turner motorcycle because of its unique and appealing design language. Looks are subjective. But yes, I fell very proud and nice every time I'm riding. I have done 800 km's and only first service till now. But its service cost is cheaper than TVS Apache rtr 160 4v bs6 also for sure. Now heading towards judgment. If you are comfortable in cruising with 80-85 km/h then this is the best bike for you. It doesn't mean u can't go beyond that limit. It will easily pull you up to 115 with pillion in no time. But riding @ comparatively low speed without worrying about any speed-bump or pothole is forte of this machine. Overall it is good all rounder in budget. and yes pocket friendly too.

1. Buying experience is awesome 2. Seat can be improved off road riding is nice but not comfortable for highway riding it can achieve 120km/h but after 90 km/h it fell vibration.3. White color looking nice but other colors are nice, i get 32-36 km/lit millage. Sit quality is not good.4. Servicing and maintenance is low cost as like 100cc or 150cc bike 4. Pros Value for money Tour and off-road bike is less than 1.5 lac. Sitting posture is comfortable for off road and off road friendly bike low weight, Digital meter. Cons: Sitting postured can be improved, Suspension can be improved.

This bike is actually a game changer but only prob with this is highway cruising speed it might have been a little better like 110 kmph without vibration but it starts vibrating around 90 and above just fix this and boom it gone rule the segment...And a little bit more wider and comfortable seat for the bike will be enough.

1. This bike is 100% value for money. Awesome engine 2. You can take this bike anywhere.. More you do offroad more you love this champ..3. This is a decent power machine, if you are doing tours in basic range of bikes like fz, r15, classic 350, gixxer.. Then xpulse is your better choice than that.. This bike has so soft handling.. Not tuff like himalayan at all. Even if you compare himalayan with xpulse, apart from power, soft seat and look, xpulse shines on all the other aspects( no engine heat issue, very soft suspension and handling, great ride quality, new features, mileage, very less maintenance, smooth clutch and gear and so on.)4. Very less price when it comes for servicing 5. Pros : i have mentioned it above. Cons: silencer may create discomfort during long run. Hero has to shorten the silencer.. Need little more torque.. Hero has to do something for brighter headlight.Need much more soft and bit lengthy seat.

Can trust xpulse rather than himalayan

Value for the money segment bike

about the xpulse: It is a darn good looking bike.
