Hero Motocorp have raised the prices of the Splendor Plus lineup for 2026, with all variants seeing a Rs. 250 increase. The Splendor Plus remains mechanically unchanged.

Hero Splendor Plus Summary
Hero Splendor Plus is a commuter bike available in 4 variants and 9 colours. The Hero Splendor Plus is powered by 97.2cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 7.91 bhp and a torque of 8.05 Nm. With both front and rear drum brakes, Hero Splendor Plus comes up with combined braking system of both wheels. This Splendor Plus bike weighs 112 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 9.8 liters.
The Splendor Plus has been Hero Motocorp’s best-selling product in India for years now, mainly for its reliability and frugal engine, which make it an ideal workhorse. Hero’s massive service network and affordable ownership experience also play a part in Splendor’s long-running success.
The motorcycle comes in four variants, including self-start with alloy wheels, self-start with alloys and i3S, Black and Accent, and Matt Axis Grey Metallic.
Powering the bike is a 97.2cc, air-cooled engine with Hero’s ‘XSens technology’. The engine now produces 7.91bhp at 8,000rpm and 8.05Nm at 6,000rpm. The engine comes mated with a four-speed gearbox. The hardware package, just like the rest of the bike, is pretty basic with telescopic forks and dual shock absorbers and gets drum brakes at both ends. It weighs 112kg (kerb) and the fuel tank capacity stands at 9.8 litres.
Considering its displacement and purpose, the Hero Splendor Plus BS6 faces competition from the Honda Shine 100 and the TVS Radeon.

Splendor Plus Review for Power and Performance
- Powering Hero's humble Splendor+ is 97.2cc air-cooled, single cylinder engine. Power and torque figures are modest, with 7.9bhp at 8000rpm and 8.05Nm at 6000rpm, respectively.
- The engine comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox, with a heel shifter for added convenience. Neutral is also easy to find, with all the gears being above neutral.
- Performance is adequate, but the main focus of the Splendor+ is mileage and relability, where it scores excellently. Hero claims mileage of 70kmpl+, even on E20 fuel, which is commendable.
- Hero has also equipped the Splendor+ with fuel injection, and more notably, i3S, an idle-stop-start system that helps improve mileage further by turning off the engine in traffic.

I like this Bike because I ride it a lot, and it has minimal oil costs. The overall look is amazing. The Splendour Plus bike colour is also amazing and the speed is 80 to 90 kmph and this bike is affordable. Its price is affordable for everyone. Its mileage is 55 to 65 kmpl

For the last 20 years, I have been using a Splendour bike. ( 2005 Model ) And I used this for farming work and milk distribution work. Even now, the engine is not open. working very smoothly.Hence, this month I ordered a Hero Splendour Plus. This is a good bike for a low budget and gives good mileage. I recommend this bike.

The mileage is also one of its biggest advantages, making it. This bike was comfortable for my daily basis like more space for sitting when carrying luggage, a gas cylinder, and a water cane also.

I had a very bad experience with my Hero Splendour bike. I bought it as a new vehicle, expecting good quality and reliability, but the engine developed problems within just 40,000 km.I tried contacting Hero customer care several times, but no one answered my calls. I also sent emails, but the response I received was simply to contact the service centre. This was very disappointing because I expected better support from the company itself.Overall, I am not satisfied with both the product quality and the customer service. I would not recommend Hero vehicles to anyone based on my experience.

Bad Experience Faced on Hero Splendor Plus

I bought a new Z Black i3s Splendor Plus by Hero. Only driven 4150km.Already facing so many problems.Rear brakes create a very loud sound when I press them from 2000km. Also done 2 services.1st - 1400Km2nd - 4100 Km But it is still creating a loud noise after the service also. Just a bad bike. I bought this bike for the first time. I have always used Bajaj Bikes and Chetak Scooter also. Very disappointed with Hero. This bike is not worth it.Also, from now on I will not recommend anyone to buy this bike.I will tell everyone about the bad experience I faced on this bike. My appeal to Hero Motocorp - As you are charging a high amount for selling this bike, improve it.

Mostly damage self start problem and kick also

I recently purchased a BS6 bike; if it stalls, it simply won't restart. It cost me around ₹5,000 just to get it running again. Located under the seat is a self-start module (ECM) that is prone to failure at any time.

I bought this bike back 6 years ago, but till now I had a long time story of good mileage, low maintenance and the best trusted smooth engine it is enough for city travelling, daily commuting, etc for a man with office work, delivery, etc the only missing feature I think is lack of modern feature and I think classic cluster is far better.

Very poor quality bike. Brakes have constant issues and feel unsafe. Performance is always disappointing, even with regular maintenance. Low-grade materials used throughout. Not durable and not worth the money. Disappointed with this purchase. Very bad and poor quality material used. I am not suggesting buying

The overall product is good for Indians. Good mileage and design, and very good service. I am also happy with the product, and thanks to the hero. Nice bike and price lower than other bikes. Scooty. I am very happy, and it saves my money.
