about the xpulse: It is a darn good looking bike. Not many will disagree with this. The bike looks good in all colour more so in pearl white (fi) and red (carb).It is more powerful than the hero impulse 150.The power i felt was almost similar to my sf. Aggressively priced At rs 98,000 ex-showroom it is priced very well. Handling is pretty decent in traffic. Considering the sf i own and the avenger we decided against. The bike just glides over the uneven surfaces and the potholes. You also sit taller than the other bikes and more often than not you’ll find you handle sailing smoothly over the handles of the other bikes. Fuel economy is pretty good too. At around 40–42 kmpl (lesser than sf which gives me close to 50 kmpl) it is not bad for a 200 cc bike. Ground clearance. Not only is this bike tall with good ground clearance but also it was smart of hero to do away with the center stand. In an himalayan, this center stand at times hit the uneven surface. Adjust to suspension. You are allowed a manual 10 point suspension adjustment. This is like a cherry on top of the icing. The digital console is quite elaborate. It gives you a lot of readings like the rpm, gear, speed (of course), date, time, stand, fuel, abs. Hero has also added something called as the gps which is little tacky to understand. So do not completely depend on this feature as its still in early stage of development. But overall this console is likeable and readable. Sf here has a slight edge here though. The japs have tech on their side. Areas of improvements. Headlights: These are round and led lamps. Just like many factory fitted hl these aren’t bright enough. Moreover, the focus is so close to the mudguard that you end up illuminating the mudguard and not the road. Almost 30 % light is blocked by the placement. Seating and ergonomics. The seat is narrow, i felt. After 30 mins of riding my bottoms starting asking me questions. Then again, the seats of my sf are wider. Also my wife was not dissatisfied with the seat arrangement. Standing position. Being an offroader and also consider the condition of the roads due to the metro project, there are stretched of roads where you may prefer standing. Unlike the himalayan, you may have to bend slightly ahead. No issues for smaller distance though. Something strange. I failed to understand why they had to cut the pipe like this to accommodate the exhaust. Hero could’ve definitely done better than this. To sum it all up, i like my sf more. But then again, this was a gift to my wife and she liked it.. Sorry loved it (end of the story). She selected it over the apache 160, avenger 160, hero xtreme 200 s, yamaha fzs, honda hornet. This was after seeing test riding and the attitude of the sales rep at the dealership. In conclusion, the hero xpulse is a great bike which is also friendly on the pockets. I got it for ~ rs1,22,000 onroad (with 5 years od + tp insurance along with rider legal liability).It handles well in traffic and will bring you a smile on your face. So if you’re looking for an offroader but also intend to use it on your daily commute to work then you should go for it. Similarly, if you are looking for a daily commuter and would love to have something extra, then as well you can definitely try it. You may end up taking it home. Coming from the stables of the hero, my assumption is that this stallion’s maintenance will be easier (mine is carb). It will be less expensive and spares would be less costly too. Let me know if you need any more information. Feel free to share and help those who may need it. I have faced a few issues with the abs and the engine. The abs malfunctions and the engine stalls and restarts during a ride. I've brought this to the notice of the service team. The abs component was changed on sunday the 14th of june 2020. The engine cutoff issue also was looked into. It appears to be working fine today.

Used this Bike for over a year, and faced only 2 issues which were that the seat was a little uncomfortable for the long ride and didn't have a center Stand as the side stand was not up to the mark. Need the Center Stand if we bought it separately but does not fit properly. Other than that bike was superb to ride.

It is a wonderful bike. Great riding posture. Great comfort. No vibration. Decent looking, with great performance. It has a top speed of 125kmph. Fuel efficiency is up to 40kmpl. Less service cost and less maintenance. Affordable offroader in this range. The bike is strongly built. The headlamp range could have been better.

To be honest, this bike is fantastic, I purchased this bike on 26 Oct 2022 and I am fully satisfied with this machine
The engine is smooth, the pickup is good, and the main thing its look very different from other bikes, one thing that I don't like about this bike is the headlight, I have made some modification.

It is one of my India dream bikes as I have driven one of my friends I really like everything... Just want to own it... It's like a machine to me what a bike... Hero, you really make a good bike... Abs issue

Before buying check whether your abs are working properly cause you will notice in a few days your front brake will be locked automatically and then you have to change the whole kit of rs. 9245 which nowadays hero giving free of cost cause of company default. Otherwise, my experience with this bike is good. Best.

Best bike in 200cc segment with great performance in city roads

I got this bike in Sept 2020. Riding is comfortable. The look is decent and you should at least be 5.10' to ride this bike. Comfort level 5/5, mileage pretty decent, servicing cost 5/5. This bike ride is like a horse on city roads. U ride this in any road condition, dirt or pit hole won't disappoint you. Top-notch bike for city rides. Highway performance is pretty decent. You can cruize around 100-110 without any issue. But if you want to buy this bike for speed then I would not recommend this bike. Superb bike with great comfort, decent mileage, top performance in the city, and economical. Undoubtedly the best bike in 200cc segment with less that1.5l budget.

Experience of buying this was ok they wear very supportive and managed persons
The riding experience was fantastic
Pros are it's very comfortable
But the engine should have more power

Best experience ever. It was looking awesome and also ride was so good..Just years passed (1 1/2 year) still loveable. And mileage was still given 40/lit ..And also very good for daily tours and everything. This is my only opinion and also I have experience. Just awesome...And it will be the best for a hero.

It is a wonderful bike. Great riding posture. Great comfort. No vibration. Decent looking, with great performance. It has a top speed of 125kmph. Fuel efficiency is up to 40kmpl. Less service cost and less maintenance. Affordable offroader in this range. The bike is strongly built. The headlamp range could have been better.

To be honest, this bike is fantastic, I purchased this bike on 26 Oct 2022 and I am fully satisfied with this machine
The engine is smooth, the pickup is good, and the main thing its look very different from other bikes, one thing that I don't like about this bike is the headlight, I have made some modification.

One of the best bike in India

It is one of my India dream bikes as I have driven one of my friends I really like everything... Just want to own it... It's like a machine to me what a bike... Hero, you really make a good bike... Thank you. I recommend buying this bike over all it's good and I hope one day I will own it if everything is under my budget.

Before buying check whether your abs are working properly cause you will notice in a few days your front brake will be locked automatically and then you have to change the whole kit of rs. 9245 which nowadays hero giving free of cost cause of company default. Otherwise, my experience with this bike is good. Best.

Best bike in 200cc segment with great performance in city roads

I got this bike in Sept 2020. Riding is comfortable. The look is decent and you should at least be 5.10' to ride this bike. Comfort level 5/5, mileage pretty decent, servicing cost 5/5. This bike ride is like a horse on city roads. U ride this in any road condition, dirt or pit hole won't disappoint you. Top-notch bike for city rides. Highway performance is pretty decent. You can cruize around 100-110 without any issue. But if you want to buy this bike for speed then I would not recommend this bike. Superb bike with great comfort, decent mileage, top performance in the city, and economical. Undoubtedly the best bike in 200cc segment with less that1.5l budget.

Experience of buying this was ok they wear very supportive and managed persons
The riding experience was fantastic
Pros are it's very comfortable
But the engine should have more power

Best experience ever. It was looking awesome and also ride was so good..Just years passed (1 1/2 year) still loveable. And mileage was still given 40/lit ..And also very good for daily tours and everything. This is my only opinion and also I have experience. Just awesome...And it will be the best for a hero.
