Hero Xtreme 125R is a commuter bike available in 4 variants and 14 colours. The Hero Xtreme 125R is powered by 124.7cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 11.4 bhp and a torque of 10.5 Nm. With front disc and rear drum brakes, Hero Xtreme 125R comes up with combined braking system of both wheels. This Xtreme 125R bike weighs 136 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 10 liters.
The Hero Xtreme 125R is a sporty commuter bike which intends to offer a mix of practicality and youthful styling. The Xtreme 125R rivals the TVS Raider and comes in three variants – IBS, single-channel ABS and dual-channel ABS.
The design of the Xtreme 125R is quite distinct and sporty. The fascia gets a low-slung full-LED headlamp with a radical design. The fuel tank and rear section look muscular and get a split-seat setup.
Powering the motorcycle is a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor. It makes 11.5bhp and 10.5Nm and comes linked to a five-speed gearbox. The Hero Xtreme 125R gets 37mm telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Its braking hardware includes a 276mm disc at the front and an optional disc or drum at the rear.
As for the features, the Xtreme 125R offers full-LED lighting and an interesting-looking LCD screen that offers Bluetooth connectivity for call and text alerts. It also comes with hazard lamps and is offered with ABS and a combined braking system as options. The higher-spec, dual-channel ABS trim also incorporates cruise control, and three ride modes- Eco, Road, and Power.
The Hero Xtreme 125 rivals the TVS Raider 125 and the Bajaj Pulsar NS125.

I'm writing this review after 1 year of purchase, and I've done 20k km on my Xtreme 125R single-channel ABS, and the experience is so damn good! It's one of the craziest bikes in the segment, with pretty good fuel economy, power and looks! In those 20k km, I've just changed 1 air filter and 1 pair of disc pads. Very reliable and loving bike; this is like it's the best bike ever built by Hero!

I drive this bike 7 month I love this bike best performance The Hero Xtreme 125R is an excellent motorcycle that offers a great combination of sporty design, performance, comfort, mileage, and everyday practicality. I am very impressed with the overall quality and riding experience of this bike.The first thing that stands out is its aggressive and attractive design. The sharp styling, muscular fuel tank, modern LED lighting, and sporty appearance give the Xtreme 125R a premium look. It looks much more powerful and stylish than many bikes in its segment.The engine performance is smooth and responsive. It provides enough power for daily city riding as well as occasional highway rides. Acceleration feels good, and the bike is easy to control in traffic. The gearbox is also smooth, making the riding experience comfortable.

It was designed like sporty look with 125CC Engine and comes with segment best dual-channel ABS one and only Bike. I strongly recommend this for who needs sporty look in 125Cc Segment. But the pillion seat was slightly short; better prefer Single seat for Family Usage and split Seat for Single Use who likes Sports model

I purchased that bike before 2 year then my bike needs 2k to 5k; very disappointing. Waste of money. I need to buy Hero bikes; never ever. Really a very bad bike. Daily up-and-down office commute is not possible because maintenance cost is high, and parts availability is also a factor in not buying this bike.

I ride around 90 km regularly, so mileage and comfort are very important to me. The Xtreme 125R Select stands out with its sporty look, lightweight handling and efficient 125cc engine. Very bad experience

Got me stranded within 6 months on road

Very bad experience with this bike. Only after 1500 km and 5 days after service did the problem arise; no matter what I did, the bike did not start. It left me frustrated how can a new bike get this problem. The quality of service and bike parts us also subpar.When I contacted showroom for repair or towing services, they said it was not available cause it's a Sunday.

Very poor bike.

Please don't buy this bike. After using it for just one year, the suspension started leaking oil, and I had to replace it and the chain spoket,clutch pad; every part will change after using 1yr. Some major issues have been seen in this bike. Buying this bike is something I truly regret & Hero service is very poor.

Mera bike 500 k.m . Tak thik se chala Or mene fast service kiya . Fast service ke bad service centre se bahar ate hi engine noise agya Or abhi 8 month ho gya thik nhi hoa. Mene abhi tak bohot sare service centre me dikha chuka hu koi samaj nhi paya kya problem he. Or abhi tak bike 3500 k.m. chala he kush din phle bike ka shocker bhi kharab ho gya or bohot problem he. Abhi mera esa hal he ki bike chala bi nhi pa rha hu or emi bi bhar rha hu

I purchased a new Hero Xtreme 125R Dual ABS on 24 May 2026. Within just 15 days of purchase, the bike started having severe starting issues. The battery was automatically discharging, and the bike was unable to start either with self-start or kick-start.When I visited the service center, they informed me that there was an issue with the battery and asked me to visit the Mani Majra battery center. I travelled there in extreme heatwave conditions and high temperatures, spending around 45 minutes to 1 hour commuting. However, after inspection, the battery centre confirmed that the battery was completely fine.After this, I again visited the service centre and informed them about the battery report. They then asked me to leave the bike overnight for further checking. Later, I received a call stating that the magnet coil was burned and needed replacement. They also informed me that the required part was unavailable and it would take one week.Now, after keeping my bike for several days, they are demanding Rs.1650 from me for replacing the magnet coil. This is completely unacceptable because the bike is only 15 days old, and such manufacturing or electrical defects should be covered under warranty.Due to this issue, I have suffered:Mental harassmentPhysical inconvenience during extreme weather conditionsFinancial loss due to repeated visits and unnecessary chargesLoss of trust in the quality and service

Headlight issue

Riding at night on this bike is quite difficult because it doesn't provide sufficient lighting, and the light is not properly adjusted. I raised this issue with the service staff in Anantnag, but they were unhelpful in resolving it. I am very disappointed with the lighting problem and unsure of where to find a solution.
