Hero Super Splendor Xtec Summary
Hero Super Splendor Xtec is a commuter bike available in 2 variants and 4 colours. The Hero Super Splendor Xtec is powered by 124.7cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 10.72 bhp and a torque of 10.6 Nm. With both front and rear drum brakes, Hero Super Splendor Xtec comes up with combined braking system of both wheels. This Super Splendor Xtec bike weighs 122 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.
The 2023 Hero Super Splendor Xtec was launched in the Indian market with several updates over the standard motorcycle. For starters, this variant of the 125cc commuter motorcycle benefits from a Bluetooth-enabled fully-digital display that packs features such as missed call alerts, SMS alerts, incoming call alerts, and a phone battery level display. However, despite sporting the Xtec badge, this motorcycle misses turn-by-turn navigation.
The digital display also shows ride-related data on the speedometer, odometer, two trip meters, fuel gauge, and real-time fuel economy. Other features on the Super Splendor Xtec comprise an LED headlight with LED DRL, a USB charging port, an idle start-stop system, a combined braking system, and a side-stand engine cut-off function.
The list of visual changes is limited, and the only difference between the standard version and the Xtec variant is at the front of the vehicle. The Xtec model benefits from a new design for the headlight that features an integrated LED DRL. Meanwhile, the styling elements retained from the standard motorcycle comprise a body-coloured headlight cowl, body-coloured front fender, curvy shape for the fuel tank, single-piece seat, single-piece grabrail, and a side-slung exhaust with chrome heat-shield.
Hero MotoCorp has listed the new Super Splendor Xtec in three paint options – Gloss Black, Candy Blazing Red, and Matte Axis Grey. All three colour options feature identical graphics that are visible on the headlight cowl, fuel tank, and side and rear panels.
The mechanical specifications on the Super Splendor Xtec are similar to the standard version, and this motorcycle, too, uses a 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, this motor makes the same 10.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm at 6,000rpm as the standard Super Splendor. However, the new Xtec variant is OBD2-A-compliant. The On-board Diagnostics System helps in detecting system failures and indicates faults in the vehicle system. The company claims a fuel economy of 68kmpl.
The hardware comprises a diamond frame, telescopic front forks, and five-step-adjustable twin rear springs. The braking system includes 130mm drum brakes on both wheels on the base model. Meanwhile, the premium version gets a 240mm disc at the front. The 18-inch alloy wheels are shod in 80/100-section front and 90/90-section rear tubeless tyres.
The Super Splendor Xtec rivals the likes of the TVS Raider 125 and Honda SP 125 in the Indian market.

its a nice budget-friendly commuter bike with decent mileage and power, and I am very happy about the maintenance cost. just change the tyre, oil, and tighten the chain subsequently, and you're good to go. My bike the 1 year old, and I still ride without any issue. If you have raised the money, I think you should go for the unicorn.

I bought this bike 2024 and I ride 20000km, this is my honest review. First, I faced a front shock absorber issue. Then the throttle body is gone, next the piston rings are gone. And valve goneActually I drive decently, every service is done by Hero Service Centre. periodically. Bike performance is bad, the Engine creates sounds, and the Clutch plates have changed after 1 month of purchasing, The Time chain, battery, and chain shock have also changed. This bike is a total waste of money. I suggest all of you think before purchasing this bike. Its mileage is also not good. The front light does not give proper light at night.

Its vibration is more critical than the Honda bike, it gave me pain in the back on a normal pitched road, the worst bike experience for me, and its spring system used for suspension is very poor in comparison with other variants like Passion Pro, or, Xtreme 125. my bike is 125cc but it's a false promise. I found it only 110 cc performance and on slopes its power is also weak.

They were purchased on 6th Nov 24. After driving 1000 km in 20 days, the rear wheel bearing has broken inside the drum itself. The suspension quality is average. Sometimes, the engine automatically stops at a low speed in traffic. The breaking is okay. Overall, this is an average product by Hero. Dealer behavior is also an issue. There are no proper answers to queries. Think twice before purchasing this.

Pro: Mileage, Low maintenance, and Big seat.Cons: Gear issue on upward roads, Pickup speed is lessGood experience compared to other 125 cc bikes, The main positives are mileage and a good comfort seat, if you are using a 110 cc bike at present u can easily shift to this bike as it has a massive design and good mileage.
