Honda celebrated 100 customers of the Africa Twin, and its first anniversary ride in India, with a ride to some wonderful destinations in South India. We went along for the ride. 

Honda has launched the 2018 Africa Twin CRF1000L in India at Rs 13.23 lakhs (ex-showroom). The adventure touring motorcycle will be sold exclusively through 22 Wing World dealerships across the country, and can be booked for a token amount of Rs 50,000.

Honda will launch the Africa Twin in India in July. Like before, the adventure touring motorcycle will be locally assembled, and will be available in limited numbers.

Honda has filed a patent for a new small-capacity adventure sports motorcycle. With this, the Japanese manufacturer seems to be working towards reviving the Dominator moniker. 

Honda is planning to bring a smaller version of the Africa Twin to the world market. But we’ll have to wait for couple of years more before we see it in the concept or production form. 

Honda has taken the wraps off the new CRF1000L2 Africa Twin Adventure Sports ahead of the 2017 EICMA Show in Italy. Apart from a new absurdly long moniker, the motorcycle has been updated with a redesigned fairing, higher-spec suspension, revised ergonomics and a bigger fuel tank. 

With a slew of motorcycles going to be revealed at the EICMA 2017, we take a look at the top five motorcycles that are expected to be unveiled there.

Honda has released a teaser image of the bike, confirming earlier reports of an upgraded Africa Twin for next year.

Honda has filed a patent for a new supercharged V-twin powertrain. The patent design shows a compact engine with a supercharger positioned between the two cylinders, at the heart of a streetfighter.
