Honda Unicorn Summary
Honda Unicorn is a street bike available in only 1 variant and 3 colours. The Honda Unicorn is powered by 162.71cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 13 bhp and a torque of 14.58 Nm. With front disc and rear drum brakes, Honda Unicorn comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Unicorn bike weighs 139 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 13 liters.
The Honda Unicorn is a premium commuter motorcycle that is known for its smooth and fuel-efficient engine and comfortable riding experience. It hasn’t received major updates over the years of its existence but remains one of the oldest and most successful names in Honda’s portfolio.
The Unicorn boasts a simple and bland design by today’s standards. It gets a bold headlamp with a large cowl along with a chunky fuel tank which blends with a long tail section. The latest iteration of the motorcycle gets an improved ground clearance (8mm higher) and a longer seat (24mm longer) than its BS4 version which was discontinued long back.
Powering the motorcycle is a 162.7cc, air-cooled engine that produces 12.73bhp and 14Nm. The motor is linked to a five-speed transmission. The suspension setup comprises telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock. Braking hardware includes a disc brake at the front and a drum unit at the back while the safety net comprises of single-channel ABS. Just like most other aspects, the Unicorn is basic on the feature front with halogen lamps and a fully-analogue instrument cluster.

I bought a unicorn bike 2 months back. This is not the first time I bought it, this is the 3rd bike. I have only used the unicorn bike since the beginning and there are a total of 4 bikes in our house including my bike. Unicorn means a one-horned horse. This bike also runs like a horse. Honda company is really 100 percent correct in naming this bike unicorn.

I have many other bike but this is awesome. I have been driving this since 4 months. This give me comfort and best mileage. Comfort of this bike is very good in high ways this performance is very very good. The maintenance cost of this is low. I have driven it in high ways and also in city and also in villages this is perfect. But I think the ground clearance is slightly low for village rides.

My dream bike unicorn... Last i have purchased in (with in 5 months ) digital and sensor update bike... I am love with riding the bike. Because iam in medical represented.. This is unsatisfactory to the unicorn...this not comfortable, gear struggled, battery is ver worsted... But rate is very high in compare with other... Very disappointed.. For selected unicorn 160 model.

All honda bike best and unicorn are all is best bike The Honda Unicorn is a good commuter offering in the 160cc segment. With the 2025 update, the bike now has a lot more to offer. But when compared to its rivals like the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V, the bike falls short in the features department and the update hasn't changed it. But overall, it has an amazing engine with great levels of refinement. If you are looking for a simple no-nonsense commuter in the 160cc segment then the Unicorn is worth considering

It's the Thalaiva in the 160 segment.

In little words: it looks like a gentleman, runs smoothly, no noise. This bike is dependable, not for wild performance but like silent worker going on and on.Going with time, it modernized itself like LED headlight, digital meter etc, but it's still the lovable bike because of simplicity and trustworthy.

This unicorn bike is really really good and I have no complaint accept the headlight but I think this issue also solve in new model but I have used request from Honda please come some new upcoming powerful model of Cb unicorn like 200 with dual channel abs because some brands are given in low price all new features then why Honda is not doing upgrade and soonly we want to see in future CB unicorn 200 plz make it.

" Behind the sheet reality - "Honda unicorn"

Bought this bike 2.5 months ago.First After buying the bike from dealer and riding it for about 3 to 4 days, I found that it's handle bar is a slight tilt in left side when I raise this issue in service center (Aditya Honda Vasai east) they told me say this to dealer and they are not responsible for that and it's not comes under service say they not gonna fix it ( Very rude, misbehaving tone and way of communicating)Second.Within 2 months, its battery suddenly became dead, its headlight and meter console shut down, and the self-start stopped working, and the bike isn't starting even by the kick. We also complain to Honda for their responses being lazyAnd not ready to take any action no it.I like this bike for its new meter console, but really "Disappointed with the Honda both for product and service experience.

I'm writing to express my disappointment with the service and quality of Honda products. After owning a Hero 100CC motorcycle for 9 years (156,000 km) with zero major issues, I purchased a Honda Unicorn last year. Unfortunately, I've encountered numerous problems with my Honda bike, including:- No job card for free service- Battery issues within 6 months- Front brake not working properly- Noisy chain sprocket- Gear shifting problemsIn contrast, my experience with Hero MotoCorp has been exceptional. Their customer support and product reliability are unmatched.

As per the market name, it's a very bad experience 1) battery problem2) Within 1 month, the front brake is not working 3) If the battery does not work, kick-start 4) very bad and shocking problem if your side light and kick start without riding for only 5 min, then you find the battery dead.

First Honda and perhaps last one for me. Trusting Honda's quality bought one in June 2018. Regret that Honda is not approachable directly; they just divert you to the dealer where you bought it. Grappling with issues (carburettor) from day one, and they are not able to fix it till now(batch from 18 & 19 face the same issue). Still same old story gets stalled now and then. Advise potential buyers to make enquiries discreetly before committing. A big let down for me and some known individuals who own one.
