I was confused between unicorn and sp 160 but ended up buying this bike because of the sporty design and tft display. Though unicorn is aslo better. Just keep one thing in mind if you are buying your first bike or it will be your primary bike go for Unicron, as it is more comfortable and daily commuter .

This bike gives a very sporty look. Its mileage is much better. Its performance is highly evaluated and it is value for money. But it is less comfortable but it is good at other aspects. It feels like riding a sports bike. My family was also impressed by this bike's look, performance and mileage. So thanks for such a bike.

The 2025 Honda SP 160 is a compelling entry in the 160cc commuter-sport segment, blending style, performance, and practicality. Powered by a refined 162.71cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, it delivers around 13–15 bhp and 14.6–14.8 Nm of torque, paired with a smooth 5-speed gearbox. The engine is OBD2B compliant, ensuring adherence to the latest emission norms while maintaining fuel efficiency of approximately 45 km/l, making it ideal for daily commuting.

I have purchased dual disc SP 160 1 month ago. Comfortable for riding specially tall man. Over all performance are good. But gear shifting down has been false maximum time. After 1 service facing same problem . Body materials could be better as per price, as compare to same range bikes. Need more covers for rear wheel to protect clothes & rear passengers / people.

Waste of Money Buying Honda Bikes
Sukhpreet Singh
Within 1 year its display has gone off. I have complained to Honda many times. I have also given the complaint number but there is no hearing. I have never seen any company providing worse service than this.I had bought three Honda products within 3 months but after being cheated in life, I swore that I will never buy any Honda product.

Honda SP160 Single Disc

The Sp160 bike is uncomfortable while riding because it causes back pain after 15 kms, can anyone suggest changing the handlebars and seat to comfortable riding and reduce back pain. The cost is too much, nearly 155000. So Honda customers can think at least once before buying. I bought this bike on finance, after clearing the loan, I would like to sell this and purchase an economy bike for daily needs.

The bike is very uncomfortable, gears get stuck while downshifting, and sometimes during upshifting. Bike design and small handlebars give you back ache and arm pain. Shock absorbers are worse, and the ride is always jerky. I bought it after owning a Unicorn, which most very comfortable. Don't get trapped into buying this bike.

GEAR BOX MALFUNCTINING AND OIL LEAKAGE
Akshay Patil
Hi dear friends,I am Er. Akshay Patil. Through your channel, I would like to alert people about Honda bikes.I have brought the SP160 Bike from Yash Honda, hadpsar on 4th December 2024. After 1 week of driving, I observed a leakage and gear sticking issue in the bike, and the same was reported to the showroom and They visited and did some adjustments and informed that the problem is resolved. but the problem was not resolved..till date, I have visited showroom/service center more than 15 times, given bike for repair almost 30~40 days,b ut sadly no solution .later on Yash Honda stared to blame me by saying "you are not driving it properly, our bike doesn't have any issue .no one has reported such issue to us till date"But on further search on the internet, I found that this same problem is faced by many users. It's been 5 months since I've been facing this issue, and now Honda is not showing any interest. I have spent 1.5 lac on this bike and suffered almost 10k further loss due to expenses using Ola/Uber.Honda SP160/unicorn is majorly facing this issue, this bike is not worth it for 1.4 lac. Don't buy this bike. Some other issues are as below 1. Low fibre quality2. Bike vibration starts at 60km and gradually increases as speed increases.3. Gear Stuck issue.4. Oil leakage from engine oil refill tap (mine almost leaked 5 times, even after seals & plug replacement)

Good vehicle for daily use
Anand Kundi
All good for a city ride daily within 100km is the best vehicle. In my vehicle, ABS is not working, but the service centre is not getting it and not rectifying it still. It’s not working. And mileage was I’m getting 52 in city, max speed of 50 around. On the highway, around a speed of 60 km/h, you can get 60 km/l Above that, it will reduce if you cruising at high speed, like around 80 to 90, it will give u 50 km/l. For the service, it's the worst I have experienced till now.

New Honda SP 160 main stand design manufacturing defect
36 weeks ago
Srinivasulu
This email is about my bad experience with my new Honda SP 160 within the last month. I'm already a Honda customer. I intend to get a new Honda bike with cutting-edge equipment such as an LED headlight and a completely digital instrument dashboard that is suited for family use. So I went to the Mansarovar Honda-Medavakkam branch on Nov'24 and inquired about the Honda SP160 model.I had planned to book Pearl Spartan Red, but the salesperson informed me that this color was now unavailable and that I would have to wait. I waited more than two months and received confirmation of vehicle availability on January 25th, after which they wanted me to pay Rs.1000 to book the vehicle. I took my new Honda SP160 bike (Manufacturing date Oct 24) and delivery on 23rd Jan'25. The next day I observed two problems, the side stand was rusted with paint peeling off and the vehicle was shaking during the main stand condition. The same day, I went to the Medavakkam showroom and reported the problems. The person told me that the vehicle was shaking throughout the main stand in all new SP160 bikes. The side stand was rusty and the paint was chipping off. He confirmed that we would paint and donate. I was denied that and inquired as to how this bill had passed the QC. He immediately requested me to wait and then replaced it with a new side stand. Major issues:1. Vehicle was shaking during the main stand condition - Video captured by the showroom service manager and Complaint Reference# 1-136427899301. As per the Honda reply all new SP160 is shaking in main stand condition. So this is a manufacturing defect. 2. Gear shifting problem and graining noise while driving in 3rd gear. 3. The seat cover design was the worst and I was unable to sit and drive.4. The seat was extremely hard, and I was unable to set a distance of even 15 kilometers.5. Severe Pain in the lower back and neck while driving and Severe Pain in right leg and foot.
