Ducati has turned over a new leaf with the launch of the Desmosedici Stradale engine. Calling it the ‘road-going version’ of the Desmosedici GP engine from its MotoGP race machine, this new 90-degree V4 engine is sure to be an important milestone in the company’s history. 

Ducati has announced a new software upgrade for customers of the 1299 Panigale. The upgrade involves a new version of traction control system, which was first shown in the 1299 Panigale S Anniversario. 

Less than a week after it was globally unveiled, the Ducati 1299 Panigale R Final Edition has been launched in India at Rs 59.18 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Marking the end of the V-twin era for the litre-class superbike, the 1299 Panigale R Final Edition can be booked for a token amount of Rs 10 lakhs.

Ducati’s new V4-engined superbike has once again been spotted testing in Europe. Pegged as a replacement for the 1299 Panigale, this new flagship will be unveiled later this year at the 2017 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy.

The spy pictures confirm the rumours about the Italian manufacturer working on a V4-powered road-going machine, similar to the Ducati MotoGP race bike.

Ducati has released a video teasing a new version of its top of the line 1299 Panigale, to be unveiled at the Laguna Seca WSB round in California on 7 July 2017.

The company plans to launch the Euro4 variants of the Ducati Scrambler range, Monster 821 and Diavel for the Indian market by the festive season in October, this year and has commenced bookings. 

The models have been temporarily discontinued as they are not BS-IV compliant.
