The company also offers the full-racing Ducati Performance exhaust by Akrapovic as an optional extra. The Akrapovic system further increases the power and torque output to 217bhp and 130Nm, respectively. The exhaust system also reduces the weight of the motorcycle by six kilograms.
The electronic rider aids work with a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit. The safety aids include three riding modes, ABS Cornering EVO, Ducati Traction Control EVO 2, Ducati Slide Control, Ducati Wheelie Control EVO, Ducati Power Launch, Ducati Quick Shift up/down EVO 2, Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO, and Ducati Electronic Suspension EVO. The anchoring tasks on both variants are handled by twin, 330mm discs at the front and a single 245mm rotor at the back.
