The beating heart of the Panigale V4 is its 1,103 cc liquid-cooled V4 engine. It delivers elastic, relentless power, revving smoothly and producing an intoxicating auditory experience. Despite outputting peak power that feels ready to obliterate lap times, the engine maps can be tuned to offer a manageable and smooth throttle response.

best sports bike ever goes 299+ km/hr, best value for mone,y great looks and good road presence. I took delivery of my Ducati Panigale V4 in Kolkata a month ago, and it’s been an absolute dream. The bike is stunning—photos don’t do it justice. The roar of that V4 engine is addictive. Every time I twist the throttle, it feels like I'm on a racetrack, even if I’m just on the Eastern Bypass.
Power delivery is smooth but ferocious. On open roads like the second Hooghly bridge or Rajarhat stretches, the acceleration is mind-blowing. The bike handles like a scalpel—it leans in with zero hesitation and feels planted even at high speeds. The braking is razor-sharp, and the electronics give confidence even when riding aggressively.
That said, Kolkata’s traffic and heat are tough. In bumper-to-bumper situations, the bike gets hot fast—engine heat is real. But that’s expected with such a high-performance machine. Shorter city rides are okay, but it shines best in early morning rides or weekend runs out of town.
Comfort-wise, it’s not a tourer, but the ergonomics are decent for a supersport. The quickshifter is a blessing in city traffic. And yes—everywhere I go, people stop, stare, take photos, and ask questions. The Panigale is a rolling piece of art.
Maintenance and servicing are costly, but I knew what I was getting into. For me, it’s not just a motorcycle—it’s an emotion. If you're in love with Italian superbikes and want a mix of art, adrenaline, and attention, the Panigale V4 is 100% worth it.
