The Ducati Scrambler Nightshift is the most true-to-form variant of the second generation of the Scrambler. It looks like a proper modern retro Scrambler and quite good-looking at that.
The styling bits that distinguish the Scrambler Nightshift from the Scrambler Icon and the Scrambler Full Throttle are the Nebula blue paint, white pinstripes, blacked out X-shape grille on the headlight, tan colour seat, and the chrome-tipped exhaust. The Nightshift also rides on wire-spoke rims instead of alloy wheels, again in keeping with the retro design theme.
The bike also has a flat handlebar with bar end mirrors, which enables a sporty stance for the rider.
Under the bodywork lies the same steel trellis frame, as those in the other Scramblers. It's the same case with the USD fork, monoshock suspension, disc brakes, cornering ABS traction control system, and twin ride modes as well. These electronic features can be accessed and adjusted via the menus in the 4.3-inch TFT display.
And lastly, the Scrambler Nightshift, like the Icon and the Full Throttle is powered by an 803cc, air-oil/cooled, L-Twin engine that produces 73bhp at 8,250rpm and 65Nm at 7,000rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox with an up/down quickshifter.
In terms of competition, the Scrambler Nightshift goes up against the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo and the Triumph Scrambler 900,

I could feel straightaway that this was a light bike and the flat bars made for a really comfortable riding position, with my feet firmly on the ground. The TFT display is clear and easy to read with everything that you need to know on show. Navigating the display is easy too which is a huge plus point in my book!TFT screen on the 2023 Ducati Scrambler NightshiftThe TFT screen coming into life on start-upPersonally, I like bar end mirrors and with the single round headlight and cool-looking indicators, the front end looks stylish. The sound of the twin-engine on start-up immediately gives you that unmistakable sound that it is a Ducati complimented with the note of the exhaust. They just work perfectly together.I know a lot of people will disagree with me here, as I have had a lot of conversations about this, but I am a fan of the number plate rear mount. There, I’ve said it!
