It has been a while since TVS first revealed its plans of resurrecting the Victor commuter motorcycle. The motorcycle’s prototypes have also been spotted testing in South India before, sporting a temporary TN registration plate. Now, reports suggest that TVS is planning to launch the motorcycle in India by September.
TVS Motor Company has pulled up its sleeves and is trying hard to make a big dent in the two wheeler industry in the country. The company recently launched the Star City Plus and confirmed to relaunch the Victor brand in the country.
Indian two wheeler giant, TVS, recently launched the new StaR City+ motorcycle for Rs 44,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) to take on the highly competitive commuter segment. At the launch of this new mid-range offering, TVS has revealed that it will mainly focus on strengthening its product range this year. According to the company’s Chairman Venu Srinivasan, TVS will add the new Scooty Zest to its lineup by next month.
TVS Motors product planning department seems to have come up with a plan to resurrect the Victor name. It is one of the successful products of the Chennai-based company. At the Auto Expo, they will be showcasing two new concepts indicating the future direction of the company. Apart from the two new concepts, the company will also show a couple of all-new production-ready models.
