Honda has recalled the VFR1200F touring motorcycle in Japan. The recall has been issued to fix a technical glitch in the motorcycle’s driveshaft and covers over 1,852 motorcycles.

Reports suggest that Honda is all set to jump on the bandwagon of two-wheeler manufacturers who are planning to introduce forced induction for their engines. If the rumours are true, then Honda will be the third Japanese manufacturer in recent times to experiment with turbocharging/supercharging on their motorcycles. While Kawasaki and Suzuki have already made their intentions public, Honda still is tight-lipped about their plans.

Oshiro, a Tokyo based two Wheeler Company is setting up its operations in India and will soon be launching its range of motorcycles and scooters here. The company is planning to enter the Indian two wheeler industry with 100-150cc motorcycles and scooters with 125-150cc engines.

Honda has unveiled two new motorcycles for USA which will be a part of their 2014 lineup, the CTX700 and CTX700N. Both the motorcycles will be powered by a 670cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that powers the NC700 series.
