Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Honda will be unveiling a special edition named ‘Dare to be Different CBR1000RR Fireblade’ at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed to mark the silver anniversary of the legendary motorcycle. First launched in 1992, the bike was designed by Honda designer Tadao Baba who emphasised his obsession to deliver a motorcycle with low weight. Back then the motorcycle was powered by an 893cc engine which generated about 122bhp of power.

Honda’s MotoGP spearhead and the reigning world champion Marc Marquez is back to his winning ways after a dull start to the 2015 season achieving the 700th FIM (Federation of International Motorcycling) World Championship victory for Honda in road racing. Honda registered their 699th win on Sunday at the Indianapolis Grand Prix when the 18-year-old 250cc Belgian rider Livio Loi bravely gambled with tyre choice to achieve his first victory.
