I'm a true lover of adv and adventure tourer bikes all time. One of my friends brought a xpulse 2v last year, I took some rides on it and I really got impressed with the way it looks, its refinement, ergonomics etc...But I was a little upset with its 2v engine because its performance was not that much great when compared with other 200cc engines. Then hero introduced xpulse 200 4v, I took a test drive on it too....Surprisingly the 4v engine was a lot more fun to drive, still, its engine can't compare with other 200cc but it gives absolute fun to drive like experience for us, it's a great offroader machine ( jr triumph tiger ).Xpulse 200 4v is the most affordable in the market and segment too. With a pocket-friendly servicing and maintenance cost + better fuel consumption (40+kmpl)Sometimes I think that may xpulse 4v could be a 250cc or higher (mainly when cruising on highways)And the headlight.... Hero claims that there is a 21percentage better illumination on the new 4v, unfortunately, the headlight still needs a lot of improvement and could give led turn indicators too.Take test drives before whatever motorcycle you are buying.

It's a very bad experience With RT KRISHNA HERO Hosur Road. The dealer is cheating and Misguiding the customers they will not take care, and resolve the issues of the bike. My bike got issues like Oil leakage in two weeks. I informed the Dealer but they didn't respond And didn't make any need full after raising the issue 3-4 times. They didn't solve the issue and complaining on Hero Motocorp it's the very worst thing.

Good suspension, the best comfort, good power and the look is normal. But the break is slowly more than other sports bikes. The engine is smooth. Headlight is slightly slow. Top speed 132. Best riding experience. It is best for all India rides. I love it. Hero is great. It is best for off-road. Best for mud roads. Overall best bike.

Engine Issues with the Hero Xpulse 200 4V
4 weeks ago
Santu Tunga
Purchased with enthusiasm, the Hero Xpulse 200 4V initially seemed like a promising ride. The suspension delivered a smooth experience, and regular servicing was a testament to my commitment to maintenance. However, the journey hit a rough patch at 9000km with a broken gear assembly balancer-driven washer, an issue that reemerged at 14000 km.Despite adhering to service schedules, this recurring problem has marred the reliability of the bike. Conversations with fellow Xpulse owners in online communities have revealed a pattern of similar experiences, with no definitive solutions in sight. This has led to a growing dissatisfaction among riders, myself included. The financial impact is non-negligible, with an investment of INR 170,000 feeling increasingly unjustified. The lack of resolution and repeated nature of the engine problem has eroded my trust in the brand, to the point where recommending this bike to others is out of the question. In conclusion, the Hero Xpulse 200 4V has fallen short of expectations. Potential buyers should be wary of the engine issues that have yet to be addressed by the manufacturer, casting a shadow over what could have been a commendable machine.

The bike is very noisy. Not as smooth as other bikes which was my first experience till my first service that's when I rode the test ride bike which was a whole other thing smoothness was on point and everything seemed something else. I was continuously complaining about the engine jerk and engine noise which is very prominent but the staff keeps on ignoring me. The gear shifting is very bad. The front abs have issues which they told me will change under warranty but the abs system is not available so I have to wait for another 10 days or so. The rear disc is very bad. I am getting a mileage of 25 30 don't know what's wrong. The engine heats a lot. Don't know what's wrong and when will the service center fix it.

The first we took the bike out of the showroom was amazing. It was a pleasant and cheerful day accompanied by the birds chirping merrily. I and my father took the bike and went to the temple straight for some puja rituals. Then we went on a long drive of about 30 km on one side. The ride was smooth and sporty. It was way too good to look at some unknown future consequences. Although we made sure to get maintenance in time, it didn’t last long with us. After six months of long rides probably every day of 30 kms, it started showing its faults. Those were:- sudden engine stop, more petrol consumption and unpleasant engine sounds. Hence, frankly speaking, if anyone wants to buy it, buy at your own risk!.

1. Hero showroom has excellent hospitality. 2. Bike is too comfortable and I enjoy riding this bike. 3. Bike look like a dirt bike, has good suspension, best pickup. 4. Service cost is easily affordable and maintenance is also affordable, spare parts are also reasonable in price 5. I love xpulse 200 4v.

Little rocket which fits in pocket

Yathish
The Hero Xpulse 200 is a versatile adventure motorcycle offering a straightforward buying experience with good customer service and financing options at Hero dealerships. Riders appreciate its comfortable riding position, smooth suspension, and stable handling on various terrains, making it suitable for long rides and off-road adventures. Its rugged design, including a high-mounted front fender, tall windscreen, and knobby tires, adds to its adventurous appeal. The 200cc engine delivers adequate power for city commuting and off-road excursions, while the lightweight chassis enhances maneuverability. Hero's widespread service network ensures convenient servicing and maintenance, although some riders may find the stock tires and engine power slightly lacking for highway cruising and aggressive off-road use, respectively. Overall, the Hero Xpulse 200 is a popular choice for adventure enthusiasts seeking a versatile and capable motorcycle.

Tips for other riders
One important maintenance tip for the Hero Xpulse 200 is to regularly check and maintain the chain tension and lubrication. A well-lubricated and properly tensioned chain ensures smooth power transmission, reduces wear on the sprockets and chain itself, and enhances the overall performance and longevity of the motorcycle.

Showroom people are very lazy and not responded and I expected much about the behavior of the showroom people but they couldn't even reach my expectations riding this bike offroad really gives me a great feeling and the bike look is very nice the performance of this bike also very nice but when I give this bike to service I absorbed one thing the mechanics who will go for a test ride handling the bike very roughly and carelessly that hurts me more.

The maintenance cost of the bike is a little expensive compared to other bikes because high-performance synthetic oil is used for engine cooling.

The bike is very noisy. Not as smooth as other bikes which was my first experience till my first service that's when I rode the test ride bike which was a whole other thing smoothness was on point and everything seemed something else.
