Ducati Malaysia has widened its range of Monster series by launching the Monster 796 S2R at RM 64,888 (Rs 11.95lakh). The Italian manufacturer launched the Monster 796 S2R at Sepang during the Malaysian MotoGP, which was also the venue for the third Asia Ducati Week.

An all-new version of the Ducati Monster has been spotted for the first time ever. Based on the Monster 1200’s all-new platform, the bike will be powered by the liquid-cooled 821cc Testastretta 11° engine, also used in the Hyperstrada and Hypermotard series. Despite looking production-ready the official unveiling of the bike is a few months away, with rumours suggesting the Ducati World Week at Misano, in July as the possible platform for the launch.
