BMW Motorrad India’s Mumbai dealer has come out with festive offers for two of its most affordable motorcycles, the G310R and the G310GS. 

BMW Motorrad sells the G310R and the G310GS in India which are the German brand’s most affordable motorcycles. On contacting BMW, we came to know that none of these bikes have been affected by the issue in India.

The German manufacturer has updated a few of its motorcycles with either cosmetic or mechanical updates for 2020.

Available at all BMW dealerships across India, the offer can be availed on finance schemes with a tenure of up to 30 months (two years and six months). 

The BMW G310R might be a street bike but its roots are embedded in a racier avatar. Yes, we are talking about the TVS Apache RR 310 which was part of last year's track day line-up. The G310 R borrows nearly all its components like the frame, wheels, brakes, suspension and engine from the latter.

The Honda CB300R is scheduled to arrive in India on 8 February with a tentative price tag of under Rs 2.5 lakhs. At that price, the CB300R enters the KTM 390 Duke territory and also faces competition from the BMW G 310 R. We find out how the upcoming motorcycle stacks up against its closest rivals.

We have got past the first week of 2019 with a bunch of bittersweet updates from bikemakers. Apart from the regular scoops and spy shots, this is the time when the two-wheeler sales of the past year are scrutinised. 

BMW Motorrad India had a good 2018. The company managed to sell a total of 2187 units last year and that’s quite an achievement.

BMW and TVS joined hands in 2013 with the aim of producing sub-500cc motorcycles. The partnership churned out three models carrying the same 310cc powerplant but catering to different requirements. 

In Mumbai, the cash discount on both the entry-level BMW bikes is Rs 40,000. Resultantly, the G310R now costs Rs 3.38 lakhs and the G310GS is priced at Rs 4 lakhs (both prices are on-road, Mumbai).
