The BMW G310 RR is the entry-level sport bike from the Bavarian bike maker in India. It is essentially a rebadged version of the TVS Apache RR 310, but it gets the signature BMW quality and badge value.
The G 310 RR draws power from a 312.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 34bhp and 27Nm. It comes paired with a six-speed gearbox and is built to deliver a balance of performance and everyday usability. In terms of features, BMW has equipped the motorcycle with LED lighting all around, riding modes, and a fully digital instrument cluster, offering a premium experience for riders stepping into the supersport segment.
Styling is one of the G 310 RR’s key highlights. The sharp front fascia, layered body panels, and bold graphics give it a youthful and aggressive appeal. The split-seat setup and committed riding posture further underline its supersport intentions.
Under the bodywork, the G 310 RR rides on USD front forks and a rear monoshock. Braking duties are handled by a single disc at both ends, assisted by dual-channel ABS. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with Michelin tyres, 110/70 section at the front, and a 150/60 at the rear. It gets an 11-litre fuel tank and tips the scales at 174kg.
BMW offers the G 310 RR in three variants: Standard, Style Sport, and Limited Edition. Prices start at Rs. 2.81 lakh for the Standard trim, while the Style Sport variant is priced at Rs. 2.94 lakh. The Limited Edition costs Rs. 2.99 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). In terms of rivals, the G 310 RR competes with the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, and the Kawasaki Ninja 300.

The BMW G 310 RR is a striking entry into the sub-500cc supersport segment, effectively bringing the "S 1000 RR" aesthetic to a more accessible platform. Born from the BMW-TVS partnership, it shares its DNA with the Apache RR 310 but wraps it in the prestige of the Bavarian badge. Design and BuildVisually, the bike is a masterpiece. The "M" inspired livery—white with blue and red accents—gives it a big-bike feel that turns heads in city traffic. The fit and finish are top-tier, featuring a vertical 5-inch TFT colour display that is both intuitive and high-tech, offering four riding modes: Track, Sport, Urban, and Rain. PerformancePowering the RR is a 312.1cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 34 HP and 27.3 Nm of torque. In Sport and Track modes, the power delivery is linear and punchy, allowing for a top speed of around 160 km/h. The "Reverse Inclined" engine layout aids in better weight distribution, making the bike feel incredibly nimble and flickable around corners. Handling and Ride QualityThe handling is where this bike shines. Equipped with golden USD forks and a trellis frame, it offers precise feedback. While the Michelin Pilot Street tyres are great for daily commuting, track enthusiasts might find them less grippy than the Road 5s found on its TVS sibling. However, the dual-channel ABS and slipper clutch ensure that the bike remains composed during aggressive downshifts and hard braking. VerdictThe BMW G 310 RR is the perfect choice for riders who value brand prestige and sharp aesthetics alongside capable performance. While it comes at a premium price and higher service costs compared to its rivals, the pride of ownership and the refined riding dynamics make it a compelling "mini-S 1000 RR" for the street.

Good Entry Sportbike, But Not Perfect
Hiren Gamre
The BMW G310 RR is definitely an eye-catching motorcycle with strong road presence, and the overall build quality feels decent. However, my experience after riding it for around 30,000 km has been mixed. The bike suffers from noticeable vibrations, which even the company service centers could not fully resolve. The mirror quality is poor and it’s difficult to clearly see what’s coming from behind. Compared to the TVS Apache RR 310, which offers a more refined engine and more features at a lower price, the G310 RR feels lacking. It also misses turn-by-turn navigation. Service costs are quite expensive, especially the labour charges. While the bike looks premium and attractive, some plastic parts tend to make noise over time. Overall, it’s a stylish motorcycle but delivers a mixed ownership experience.

G 310 RR - Go for it if service cost doesn’t bother you

The BMW G 310 RR is an awesome bike overall. It’s a proper head-turner. Wherever you take it, people notice it and often ask about the bike. The aggressive supersport design and BMW badge make it stand out on the road.Talking about comfort and ergonomics, the suspension setup is very good for a sport bike. The bike feels stable and planted on both city roads and highways. The seat is on the softer side, which makes longer rides manageable. The handle position and riding posture are sporty but still comfortable enough for daily riding. The headlight performance is good, and the indicators are also well designed with proper visibility. The overall lighting setup is fully LED, which adds to the premium feel of the bike. In terms of mileage, this is what I have experienced: • 20–22 km/l in city • 35–37 km/l on highways • 25–27 km/l combinedFor a 300cc performance bike, this mileage is fairly reasonable. Official figures are around 30 km/l, though real-world mileage varies depending on riding style. The build quality is very good. Fit and finish are among the best in the segment, and the paint quality and colour finish are premium, something BMW does really well.Coming to performance, it is decent and fun to ride. The pickup is great, and the bike feels quick because of its 313cc engine producing around 34 PS and 27.3 Nm torque. However, the engine could use a bit more refinement. At times you can feel slight vibrations, especially at higher RPMs.On the feature side, the bike does offer a TFT display and multiple riding modes like Track, Urban, Rain and Sport, which add to the riding experience. Now coming to service costs: • First service: around ₹9,000 • Second service: around ₹12,000 • Third service: due next monthThe service cost is definitely on the higher side, which is something you should keep in mind when buying a BMW. But the positive part is that service intervals are long, usually around 10,000 km or one year, which reduces the frequency of visits.

The BMW G 310 R is a nimble and premium naked bike that's good for both city and highway use, boasting a comfortable ride and a powerful engine. However, it does have some drawbacks, such as an outdated LCD console and expensive servicing. Its price makes it more expensive than other bikes like the KTM, but the BMW brand value is a big draw. The BS6 model features improvements and is available at a better price, making it a strong contender in the entry-level premium bike segment, especially for brand-savvy buyers.

This bike is a wonderfull bike which goes upto 145 kmph in my driving experience. But to make sure, the riding modes differs on Indian roads. Quite costly, but worth the money. Maintenance costs are very good. Unique torque power boosts the engine when at a highway. Never gives you a feeling about driving.

The BMW G 310 RR blends sharp supersport styling with everyday usability, delivering big-bike presence in a compact 300 cc package. Inspired by BMW’s flagship sportbikes, it features aggressive full fairing, twin LED headlights, premium paint schemes, and a sculpted tail that instantly turns heads. The sporty yet manageable riding posture, gold USD forks, TFT display with multiple ride modes, and overall fit-and-finish give it a distinctly premium feel. Pros is just, Looking and mileage is good Cons are Overpriced, Bluetooth connectivity, and vibration. I am writing about Bluetooth connectivity because tvs rr310 already has it in a low price. Overall bike is good and looks amazing and the road present is good in this single-cylinder bike. I am giving a low star just one thing that is 'Overpriced'.

It would be a great bike BMW has done minor tweaks in its styling it is just rebadged APACHE RR310 and also has a high cost of ownership. RR310 is way more best option than this because of the service network of TVS as compared to the 11 showrooms of the BMW Motorrad in our country. Even the BMW sales person does not give a test ride to the customer before buying even the naked version.

This bike you can say just a copy of rr310 apache not a great deal, yes it supplies more than that bike but the higher maintenance of this bike and low availability make it not good at price and this price when you same bike why you go for this style looks similar to apache rr310 I really disappointed with the bike.
