Honda has unveiled a café racer concept called the 300TT Racer at the 2016 Bangkok Motor Show in Thailand. Based on Honda’s 300cc single-cylinder platform, the 300TT Racer is inspired by the retro racing motorcycles of the yesteryears.
Honda has showcased the updated CB500F, CBR500R and CB500X at the EICMA 2015. They have undergone several rider-focussed updates with the intent to enhance their desirability. Upgrades to this range include LED head and taillights, adjustable pre-load on the front suspension, adjustable brake levers, larger fuel tanks with new hinged fuel cap and “wave” style ignition keys.
Honda has finally announced the price of the CBR300R for the UK market. There will be only one version available that has been priced at £4,299 (Rs 4.4 lakh). Antilock-braking system (ABS) is standard.
Earlier during the year, it was revealed that Honda has patented a new design for the naked version of its fully faired CBR 300R. Called the ‘CB300F’, this new motorcycle could well be a part of Honda’s 2015 line-up of models, says Visor Down.
The 2014 Honda CBR300R was unveiled at the 2013 China International Motorcycle Trade in October, last year. It was speculated that the CBR300R was going to be unveiled at the Delhi Auto Expo, but the bike never made it to our shores. Now, reports suggest that Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, the Indian subsidiary of the Japanese manufacturer, will launch the bike in India by November.
