This is the new Benelli TRK 502. Now, assembled and sold in India by the Mahavir Group, it is available in two variants, touring and off-road. The latter is christened the 502X. We rode these bikes in the dirt and on tarmac in Chikmagalur.

While most of the Indian two-wheeler manufacturers remained a bit calm last week, Benelli was the brand which stole all the limelight. It did so by launching its new adventure tourer and revealing its future plans for the Indian market. Meanwhile, Honda also created quite a stir amongst the enthusiasts. 

In order to resurrect its presence back in the Indian two-wheeler market, Benelli has plans to introduce 40 new dealerships across 35 cities by the end of 2019.

The company has made its comeback after a short hiatus with the launch of its adventure tourer, the TRK 502. The motorcycle is available in two variants including the Benelli TRK 502 and the TRK 502X. The former is a road-biased tourer priced at Rs 5 lakhs while the latter is an adventure model which costs Rs 5.40 lakhs, both being introductory prices.

Benelli recently launched the TRK 502 and TRK 502X in India. While the bikes do have similar names and engines, they serve completely different purposes. We tell you the differences between the TRK502 and TRK502X.

Benelli will launch five more bikes in India by the end of 2019. This news was confirmed by Vikas Jhabakh, MD, Benelli India at the launch of the TRK 502 range. 

Benelli India has re-entered the Indian two-wheeler market by launching two new motorcycles today, the TRK 502 and its adventure-focussed variant, TRK 502X.

The TRK 502 is Benelli’s middle-weight adventure touring motorcycle. Meanwhile, the TRK 502X is a more off-road capable version of the same. 

The Benelli is scheduled to launch the TRK 502 in India on 18 February, 2019. The bike will be the first launch after Benelli announced its alliance with Adishwar Auto Ride India this year. So, here's what to expect from the upcoming adventure-touring bike from Benelli.
