Recently I have ridden a 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400, and my ride impression is as follows; ride quality of this vehicle is too bad, it has buzz throughout the rev band even increases at higher revs. Refinement levels are very low, the competitors are much more refined than this vehicle except RE. Vehicle is too heavy, it will be very difficult for people less than 80 kgs to move the vehicle or lift the vehicle when fell down, but it is definitely an advantage in highway rides, increases stability. Vehicle definitely looks great and the paint schemes are also good. The vehicle has a decent performance, but the buzz eats up the delight. The best thing I liked about this vehicle is it's exhaust note, the dual port exhaust sounds extremely well and will never get bored. One the worst thing I felt in this vehicle was the gear shifts, it was extremely tight and it will be a difficult & painful task to move around in heavy traffic conditions.

So, i own the 2017 dominar 400 abs and i have ridden it for 10,000 kms plus. The bike is simply phenomenal. Almost 30 nm of torque coming in at a meagre 2700 rpm (that happens to be the maximum torque of mojo) helps a lot with maneuvering in traffic and that also means that you don't have to change gears all the time while touring. I use the bike for daily commute as well as touring. It looks good, quite an eye catcher in fact, turns lots of heads on the road. The headlight throw is good at night, the only downside is that it blinds the on coming traffic. I haven't faced any issue with the bike till date although it does have some cons (although i think most of them have been rectified in the 2019 version) namely some vibrations between 4k-5k rpm on the handle bar and footpegs, the engine could have done with a little more refinement and power, the bite of the rear break could have been better and it could have done better with a longer windshield right out of the factory. The bike remains pretty stable at high speeds and one can easily tour at 120 kmph. It can also climb easily upwards of that as the mid range on this bike is massive. The service costs are pretty reasonable too as is expected of bajaj. Lastly, i believe at this price especially after the recent upgrade, there is literally no other competition that can even match the proposition that this bike comes with. And the news of autologue designs partnering with bajaj to bring in a special kit for the bike in the showrooms makes it an even better deal.Proud dominar 400 owner.

After researching for over months, I decided to purchase the Dominar UG as my first ever motorbike. At first, it was like a dream come true. But things changed later. At 1100 kms, the cam shaft damaged and it took 23 days to get it repaired. 900 kms later, at 2000 kms, engine oil leaked as they had not installed the clutch side cover properly. The front portion of the body is extremely buzzy at certain rpms, killing all the mood for riding, and it's embarrassing too. Without a pillion, the rear seat buzzes too. Since 4000 kms odo, the meter is constantly displaying low oil pressure warning. Not to be forgotten, it's just 5000 kms, and 4 months yet. I visit the service center more than any other place. Okay, I understand bajaj has put efforts and created a beast, so there may be various shortcomings. I was ready for all. But what makes me regretful is the inability of bajaj to solve these issues.

Dogs do bark but dominar always the best in class in terms of value and reliability as compared to others. Indian build first ever bike that crossed miles and made history, any bike can cross but your so called the best tourer manali vala re can't in terms of the reliability or maybe it can will take a decade that's a fact understand it. Well re service and parts are everywhere of course they have to because every time one who goes out for a tour definitely first they have to visit the nearest one and have to change the scarps first thankfully it costs always in a budget and good lord re is now providing chai for their customer so they don't want to wait entire day in the service center i think they have to sell more chai keeping in mind that chai wala guy story ..Of course they are selling more.. Chai?.

I know, it’s a bit odd. A power cruiser on a race track. The raked out front end, the upright seating, the low set footpegs, and the long wheelbase aren’t really virtues when it comes to going flat out corner after corner.
