1)it's one of the affordable bikes which we can buy in india right now (under 400cc bikes)2)the riding experience is just super. I never get tired 3)it is a bajaj bike which has a ktm engine which sounds like benelli and looks like ducati diavel and seating posture is like bullet and is used as 1200gs.
Tips for Bajaj Dominar 400
Maintain the chain Lube correctly.

Was looking to upgrade from Apache RTR 180, my first thoughts were for Himalayan 411 but the "take it or leave" attitude of RE service centers made me change my mind. I visited 4 showrooms of RE and all of them had that "devil may care" attitude. Didn't even bother to give a test ride. It was then I went for Dominar and I am happy to say that it has been a wonderful decision. I have used it for practically everything, from city usage to occasionally going for long tours. The bike has always surprised me with power delivery and comfort. Just top-notch. The so-called disadvantage of being bulky is felt at slow speed but once you get going at higher speed, the heavy weight acts like an advantage and the bike is rock solid.

Return to Biking after 10 years with Dominar 400

I had a great experience riding the Dominar 400 as I returned to biking after 10 years: great looks, power delivery, and handling. Maintenance is not very expensive. Service and spares are easily available and good for both city as well as highways. The bike is a bit heavy compared to my previous one(Pulsar 150) but you will not feel it once you start riding. At a standstill it may be difficult for someone short(I am 5' 11) to manage.

Overall this bike is no doubt a segment killer! It inspires confidence while riding and easily maintains constant speeds above 140 KMPH. Great bike any day!The only issue with this bike is the service: The service centres lack experienced technicians to solve simple issues. Also, a few service centers are just minting money.

Best comfortable bike ever. Mileage will depend upon your riding, I get 25-30 average speed of 60-70 . Low maintenance, low service cost, and of course now any other bike can compete in this price range. And some disadvantages are: sometimes you will get a mileage of 20 . Low ground clearance, at some village areas, your engine protector will in contact to the speed breaker. A bit heavyweight. A bit difficult tu turn this hulk..

I don't think I can saying anything new in this bike that the world doesn't know. But let me tryConfidence inspiring: A lot of people talk about weight being a -ve, and it is, however when you hit the highway, if you are like me coming from 150cc, this bike will give you so much confidence, it got the ergonomics right and the suspension absorbing small-medium potholes, it is just so easy to ride. I don't think any 400 CC bike (a couple of years ago) would compete with this on that. Either they are too aggressive like Dukes or very tame like the REsCertainly a looker: This could be subjective, however when I compare the styling with others in this segment, it certainly looks really cool and this is something i have heard from people around us. When travelling with my friends in ADV 390, REs, Domi always stands out, that is a feel-good factor in buying this machineComfort: Whenever the talks about Domi, the statements start with weight/vibrations and end with the engine. However, comfort according to me is more important than the former. I can say i felt extremely comfortable riding long in this bike. It revs hard and absorbs undulations so well that you forget you are riding on bad roads, its only when we stop for a tea break other riders complain about how poor and horrible the ride as you realize that you are driving a superior machine. This is also due to the better seats available in the bike, At first i felt the seats were hard, however after many rides i understood the need for high-density foam and how thankful my bums feel after a day outThese are pointers from my ownership and glad to say i made the right choice, there are so many motoring channels that don't speak of Dominar but they always come back to vibrations, take a test ride for at least 25 kms if possible and then decide. Just remember there is no perfect bike, it only depends on what you want from it and does it delivers that to your satisfaction, Opinions can be from anyone but decisions must be based on your satisfaction and happiness and nothing else. After all, if you don't get what you love, why at all?

The value for money bike

3 weeks ago
Vivek
I had a great experience riding the Dominar 400 as I returned to biking after 10 years: great looks, power delivery, and handling. Maintenance is not very expensive. Service and spares are easily available and good for both city as well as highways. The bike is a bit heavy compared to my previous one(Pulsar 150) but you will not feel it once you start riding. At a standstill it may be difficult for someone short(I am 5' 11) to manage.

Riding experience - awesome, Good performance, low on maintenance, I have not seen any cons yet.The Bajaj Dominar 400 impresses with its powerful 373.3cc engine, offering a smooth and thrilling ride. Its muscular design, LED headlamps, and comfortable seating enhance the experience. Great for highway cruising and city commutes alike, it delivers excellent value with a strong performance and reliable build.

Best budget bike in 400 CC segment!
Rajeev Prabhu
