Bought this machine on 21st June 2022. On-road price was around 276k (kerala). It took around 14 days to deliver the bike after booking. I had some other options in a similar price range. But when I took the test ride.. Oh, man. It rode straight to my heart.
It gives you a very relaxed and upright riding posture. Foot pegs are placed a little backward which is cool. Super wide seats and it is on a softer side (not too soft but it never lacks comfort) . Felt very light once it starts to roll. The engine is very much refined and gear shifts are precise. You don't feel any vibrations even at higher speeds. The power delivery is linear, unlike the ktms. But it doesn't mean that you will miss the fun factor. You can cruise at 120s effortlessly. The initial pick-up is impressive. For 0-100 it will take below 10 sec. It is easy to ride a bike in cities and highways. (i haven't checked the offloading capabilities.) suspension is neither too hard nor too soft. Potholes/cracked or humpy bumpy roads are peanuts for this. Very easy to maneuver. It gives enough confidence in cornering as well. All-day touring is just a piece of cake. Braking efficiency is pretty decent. The seat height may raise an issue for some as I am 5'10 and I don't get a well-planted foot.
I have done my first service @ 900 km and it cost me around 1200 rs. I waited for around 5 hrs to get the job done and it was a wee bit irritating.
Coming the cons which I noticed are
    1. Illumination could have been better
    2. You will have to check the chain tightness after every 300 kms
    3. Crash guards are not available
    4. The wind visor is not adjustable and the wind blast hits right on your face at higher speeds.
    Suzuki vstrom sx champion yellow.

The buying experience was very good, when I had given a test drive for the first time I fell in love with this machine. Great bike compared to Himalayan. The engine is super smooth, ride comfort is next level, and you can go for the long touring overall bike is next level highly recommend it for others who are planning.

I took the bike for a spin from gurgoan to sainj valley in himachal. With stuffed shad 33 topbox, pillion of 66kgs and myself of 84kgs. 1400kms plus in 3 days. The bike is very comfortable for both. Road presence is amazing. Fuel economy is superb, it gave me 40kmpl for total trip, even though I was riding it above 110 and going slow while climbing. Engine is super smooth. No where the belly touched the ground. Front suspension bottoms out rarely, but it does, in out case it did 2 times when we encountered mountain like speedbreaker. Personaly I feel navigation aid(tbt) is not much of a use as one will mount phone with charging cable plugged . Headlight is good and beam is powerful. Follow the right tyre pressure chart and comfort level increases. This bike doesn't stall at all whatsoever. Did 1st service from delhi before the 1400kms ride, service is average. Position of instrument cluster is very good and visibility is good as well. Foot peg position for both rider and pillion could be better. Exhaust could be more raised. Plastic quality and fitting is acceptable. Clutch is bit heavier, accelerator gets harder after 80kmph. Tried both the seats i.E stock one and lower seat. Lower seat is not as comfortable as stock one as it lacks cushioning. Small chain guard could be installed.
Overall a very good product, reliable and easy to ride. Amazing fuel economy. Amazing road presence. Good comfort. Good headlamp. Very linear acceleration.

An ideal bike for everyday commutes.
In-city rides bumps in roads are always very common and can be easily manageable in this segment of bikes with its high suspension and as well as it's wider tires.
Has a good mileage approx of 41kmpl at average city traffic in Bangalore with mild throttling.
In highway cruising it's awesome in its miles when you ride smoothly will give upto 47 at 80-90kmph
Overall it's good to go vehicle
Also, it has a satisfying road presence.

The best touring monster, I feel very very comfortable while I'm riding it too long drives, it's getting all people's attention on the roads I feel like ok I'm not wasting money, not boring while riding too long every gear shifting is very surprised I'm impressed
    Cons
    No hazard lights
    No liquid cooling system
    Engine very noisy
    Ladies foot rest missing
    Center stand missing
Because it's a too high price to compare other bikes. Other brands give all features at low cost...

    Tirthankar Goono

    1. Suzuki doesn't promote this bike the way it should be.
    2. No vibration at all. In highway 90-110 you can cruise with ease. No vibration was felt at my feet or hand during my Kolkata Sikkim Bhutan circuit. Am 5ft 11 and am comfortable with the seating posture.
    Pros
    1. Can take to Leh, Sikkim with no problem. Ground clearance is very good. No issues with off-road.
    2. No vibration. Comes with a charging port and the instrument cluster is average. Comfortable seats and sitting posture are very good for long rides.
    3. Lights are very good. Still suggest adding extra lights for long rides at night.
    4. Have the rack space for the top box.
    5. Mileage is 35-40 depending upon how you throttle, and terrain.
    6. Cooling system is absolutely spot on. No heat at all coming from the engine in your long rides.
    7. Servicing cost is cheap and parts are generally available.
    Cons
    1. Horn is very bad
    2. Side Stand footing is small. Buy an extender.
    3. Higher turning radius.
    4. No RSA provided by Suzuki.

Engine is good and very soft tuned, riding is not a problem for taller guys (>5.9")
Looks very big and height, can be used for daily commuting as well as touring, for adventure like things this is not best bike since suspension is not upto the mark
Pros : good engine, easy to handle in traffic, good torque, riding on this 250 machine is joy, riding angle also good.

I got delivery within two days. Daily 30 km I use to ride.
The bike is too smooth and 100% preferable for a long ride.
Need some eye on the back side design.
Cons: a headlight is not that effective on highways.
if the abs switching option is there it means off-roading will be a little bit smoother.

  • Much appreciated suzuki. One of the best in class machine.

    Jibbzs
