Excellent starter bike. Adequate power for city rides. Feels slight sluggish for touring. Bike is low on torque and hence needs frequent gear changes. Bang on at looks. Reliability is superb. In 2.5 years of ownership have never met a single issue. Visually the motorcycle is stunning, an absolute head turner and stands apart from other motorcycles.

    1. Buying experience was good but the expectations that were there before buying this bike has not fulfilled. Its mileage is around 35 which is not good.
    2. My riding experience is also not good at all because within 3 months the exhaust sound has been changed and it become noisy and the sound has been cracked. You can't turn this bike easily on blind and small sharp turns.
3 . Look-wise, it's eye catchy but its performance is not good, and it's most of the body parts producing sound.
    4. Servicing and maintenance - the service facility is also not good at all, maybe because of 1st 4 free servicing they are not doing properly.
    5. Pros and cons
To be honest, there are many cons,
Firstly its body parts are not good, and its battery is also not good, self-start is working properly.

  • Amazing performance after ridden 40k km

    Anurag Singh

I have completed 42000 km on fz s v3 bike which is bs4 compliance, bike is very powerful and nice punchty in this segment. Top speed is 124 kmph, with pillion approx 110 to 115 kmph. Good stability nice breaking. Rides 320 km non-stop last week only. Slightly power lake facing when on the highway when you try to pull the bike above 90 kmph. Pillion comfort is not very good. Maintenence is costly.

  • Why you should buy yamaha fzs- fi

    Mukesh Kumar

First of all this bike is cost-efficient, in this segment, there are lots of bikes. But yamaha fzs is the ultimate bike.
This bike is very comfortable if you will ride in the city and as well as for long rides.
It has the best look and great performance. Yamaha is known for balancing and they are still maintaining it. Pick-up is great, abs are the great feature that makes it safer.
Servicing and maintenance charges are the same as other Yamaha bikes.
The look is perfect, power looks more than 150 cc.
Seat quality can be improved as i feel personal it is too hard and sometimes it hurts while riding for a couple of hours.

    1. Showroom interiors are lacking in comparison to YAMAHA goodwill in the market, the staff is well cognizant and diligent, and all iterations of each model are available in display for the experience.
    2. Riding posture is comfortable even though it is a street fighter bike, seat height is a green flag for short riders as well. Smooth engine, a swift gearbox.
    3. Performance decent for city use and for adrenal instant push, Highway runs and inter-city travel put the spotlight on engine heating, diluted top end. Looks on par with the competition.
    4. Service affordable. No Maintenance apart from regular service.
    5. pros-
    >best for students as easy on pocket due to high fuel efficiency and low maintenance.
    >catches attention among the socializing circle.
    > Wide rear tyre gives it a standout look from its competition.
    >Yamaha tag
    cons-
    >brakes a bit underperformer, rear tyre locks easily under heavy braking.
    > Next to NO light throw from the main headlamp, faces quite a trouble in complete night rides.
    > Large chunky halogen turn indicators, no hazard light switch option. DRL missing.
    >Price difference on every colour of the bike.

It is a super bike for city rides because this bike has the same visual as Yamaha's other higher models there are some differences between every model but at times we can say same but different, normally this kind of bike consumes high maintenance and it has also very low maintenance.
    Pros:
    Performance:
Engine: The upgraded engine provides a responsive and dynamic performance on various terrains.
Acceleration: Quick acceleration and smooth gear transitions enhance the overall riding experience.
Design: Undoubtedly Yamaha's designs are incomparable. They are the best in business.
Aesthetics: The bike’s sleek and amazing.
    Cons:
Mileage: The company claims 45 but in city, it gives only 35 to a maximum 40.
Body: Fibre/plastic quality can be improved.. sometimes it feels too light for a bike.

I had a good experience with this bike as I used to travel once every two weeks from Delhi to Agra. It gives good mileage. This bike has a digital meter. And the look of this bike in Balck mate is too awesome. This bike always gives comfort to the rider. But for more than 4 hours ride. You have to give some time to yourself and the bike to gather energy. My overall experience with this bike is good.

    Shailendra Singh Negi

I am using this bike since october-18, it's have been approx 4 years, and it has run 48000/- km till now... It is giving a very good mileage of 55 km. On the highway, good looks, good control, and obviously a very good mileage in 149cc category, the only thing that disappointed me during the rainy season is the chain set sounds very bad. Otherwise, it's a pleasure to ride.

Excellent starter bike. Adequate power for city rides. Feels slight sluggish for touring. Bike is low on torque and hence needs frequent gear changes. Bang on at looks. Reliability is superb.

    Tips for other riders

    >Use rev matching while downshift by blipping the throttle makes downshift smooth. >While emergency braking avoid pulling the clutch as it helps in prevention of rear tyre from locking. >don't ride in reserve fuel and with low pressure in tyres.

  • Yamaha's Bike

    Gunjit Dhingra

  • Style with mileage

    Shailendra Singh Negi

I am using this bike since october-18, it's have been approx 4 years, and it has run 48000/- km till now... It is giving a very good mileage of 55 km. On the highway, good looks, good control, and obviously a very good mileage in 149cc category, the only thing that disappointed me during the rainy season is the chain set sounds very bad. Otherwise, it's a pleasure to ride.

    Suneel

My expected experience is very good.
And bike power is good and looks are very attractive and good. Public reaction and mileage is 45 km/l. Ride quality is very good with braking and tyre grip is too good. Cornering time is very confidence inspiring. Fiber quality is good and light vision in night is very good..
