Yamaha FZ S FI Price in Hyderabad

I purchased my Yamaha FZ S FI in 2019 in NCR, and it has been one of the most reliable bikes I’ve owned. The comfort level is excellent, making it easy to ride for long hours without strain. I have personally done rides of over 500 km in a single day, and the bike never gave me any trouble. The handling is smooth, mileage is decent, and maintenance has been easy and affordable. Perfect for both daily city rides and long-distance touring, this bike truly delivers on performance and reliability.

Great Mileage & Comfort
The Yamaha FZ S FI is a solid bike, especially when it comes to mileage. If you ride at an economical speed and use good fuel, you can easily get over 55 km/l, which is great for a 150cc bike. The ride quality is smooth, and the back seat is super comfortable—your pillion will thank you for that!
Performance Could Be Better
While the bike is great for city rides, I feel like the acceleration could have been better, especially in the mid-range. It takes a bit of time to pick up speed, which might not be ideal for those who love quick overtakes. Also, it’s an air-cooled engine, and I wish Yamaha had gone for a liquid-cooled system—it would have made a difference, especially on long rides.
Braking & Durability Issues
The front ABS works well, but I really would have preferred rear ABS too. It would have given better control, especially on slippery roads. Another issue is the side domes—they aren’t very durable and can break easily. If that happens, you’re looking at a ₹3,000 replacement cost, and because of Yamaha’s monolithic body design, even a small crack might mean replacing an entire section.
Service & Maintenance
On the bright side, most Yamaha service centers in Telangana do a good job. Parts, however, can be a bit tricky to find—you might need to go through third-party dealers for some of them. The stock tires have held up well for me—I’ve done around 29,000 km, and the front one might even last up to 35,000 km.
Final Thoughts
I bought the V3 model for ₹1.45 lakh on-road, and honestly, it’s worth the price. It’s stylish, fuel-efficient, and comfortable, but it does have some downsides, like acceleration, durability, and the lack of rear ABS. If those aren’t deal-breakers for you, it’s one of the best options in its segment.
