    1. The fi version of this segment was not available, had to purchase from new town area, which was far from my home. The registration of bike took too long.2. Riding is smooth especially the sound of the bike is better than older version.3. Performance quite bad. The reason i gave one star, in fact i wanted to give none, is that the bike gets really bad in performance as you go in time. Within 1st month the chain gave noise. With every service i took the bike still under performs.4. Service and maintenance. If you're reading this pls pay attention. The service of tvs kolkata is at heights of ignorance. After each service, one week later the bike gets spoiled. I mean many times i have to go back to service center to get it right. Once it had happened i was on a highway and my bike rear brake got spoiled. I had serviced it just a 4 days before. I called road side assistance, they could not come. Because i was on a highway. They said they can help me in two hours. Well from that location my home is 15 mins. I took self help and brought my bike home. If you're choosing to buy tvs bike, be prepared to get poor service from their staffs in kolkata.5. Pros: mileage is good for this segment. Looks are good. Pick up is good. cons: maintenance of parts is bad. New bike i had to buy a lot of new parts each time i service. Everything becomes loose after using a while, for which you need to visit service center more often than usual. Chain give noise very often. Summary: 1st three month of use of this bike didn't feel like new ever.

    Since the launch of this bike rtr version, i used to ride the only apache version, what a bike that time first time tvs brought front disc brake and rear drum brake,now we are seeing abs version,i was reading about some ones review on the disc brake,i am completely disagree with the rider, you need to learn how to use front disc brake with rear drum brake, and front and back disc with abs facility,people are nowadays seeing lot of moto gp's and try to do the stuff on the road.But it is totally different scenario while come to the actual riding. Now little bit of shearing of my experience how to handle the brakes with both combination a) f disc + rear drum - if you are riding at a speed of 80 km and one street dog in front of you you must be squeezing the both brake and gone for an jump,(please follow the instruction do the front disc brake at least 10 times do this in frequent manner to breaking the speed in several strokes. By doing this at least you wont fall from the bike.B) front disc + rear disc with abs - in the same scenario one front brake, one back break the both brake as much as possible calculating the distance with the dog.By any means do not press both break at a time once or else you will fly......Hope this will help commuters to save themselves..

    Best in class performance and comfort for the price. I've owned this bike for over 2 years now and I've never felt disappointed once. Mileage is above 40 km/lt which is standard considering the performance. Perfect for city commute and long rides as well. One thing worth mentioning is that service cost of tvs bikes are on the higher side but the parts also last longer. Looks very sleek and modern. The newer model has led headlamps which has amazing light-spread. Definite recommendation considering two-wheeler prices are steep these days.

    1 buying experience: i bought this bike from jalpaiguri and the experience was good, the dealer was kind and very understanding.I bought the dumb variant for approx 1.23 lacs .2 riding experience: riding experience is very good and satisfying on a area where there is more traffic.If u r thinking to buy it for tours, its not a good option.3 looks & performance : looks is awesome. Performance is good but in higher speeds you will feel vibrations on foot, seat and oil tank. It gives a millage of about 40-45 kmpl. 4 servicing and maintenance : free servicing were good. But to maintain your bike, since it is bs6 you should not keep your oil less than 2 ltrs, or else the fi ( fuel injector) may get damaged. And set your rpm at 7000. Its best according to me.5 pros : its the best bike in 160cc segment. Wheel base is very good and the manufacturer has kept a good eye on the ground clearance its 180 mm. Another best thing is the instrumental cluster, its all in one. Seat comfort is good both for the rider and the pillion.6 cons: seat height is 800mm , short riders can't reach their foot to ground with ease. Instrumental cluster lacks gear indicator. Engine refinement is not upto the mark, vibrations are felt at high speeds. Tyre are thin, which results in lack of grip in rainy days and on cornering.

    I brought the bs4 model of this bike...Which gives a power output of 16.5 bhp and 14.8 nm of torque...The acceleration of this bike is amazing from 0-80 within seconds...The bike is a bit heavy weighing 147 kg...And sticks to the ground...The engine breathe easy at high...
    I brought the bs4 model of this bike...Which gives a power output of 16.5 bhp and 14.8 nm of torque...The acceleration of this bike is amazing from 0-80 within seconds...The bike is a bit heavy weighing 147 kg...And sticks to the ground...The engine breathe easy at higher rpm so it's very easy to be aggressive on streets...The price at which it comes is amazing...The breaks are good...The service backup is good...The maintenance cost is 500-1500 bucks...There is a problem with the chain...Which needs to be lubed every 400km for good performance..The mileage is decent 40 km...Top speed is nearly 130+...The engine is awesome...Must bye in this budget segment..The best exhaust node ever in this range..

    1) I own the BS4 Apache 160 4V. Buying experience was not good, I had to change the dealer at the last moment due to bad behaviour of the salesman.
    2) Riding experience was very good and I am satisfied with the performance as I expected. Riding Posture is a little bit Aggressive, which sometimes makes my palm pain in traffic jams with a Pillion.
    3) It has best Pick up in its segment following the Yamaha R15 and MT15. Suspension is best and comfortable. Seat cushion is very soft. The Instrument cluster is Great and comes with many features and will give you a feel of the Track and Races. The Gear shifts are very smooth. You can Shift Neutral without any false shift. I have ABS version and the brakes produce very good amount of stopping power. I like the designs of Grab Rail, Which is very useful and reliable to hang something on it. Many people don't know that this bike got Half cluth which is a little bit different to use for 1st time only.
    I can't describe the looks, because I just Love the Looks..
    4) I have done Only 1st Servicing and it costed me 730 rs Total
    5) Pros:- The Pick up is very high, Handling and Flicking of the bike is very light and easy. Comfortable, Reliable, Gives you more confidence while cornering, Built quality is very good.
    My bad experiences : I had my Head light lamp damaged on the 3rd Day while cold starting the bike. I had some issues with the Clutch. That's all minor issues and negligible.
    I am short hight and I face problems while riding with a Pillion in traffic but you may not also or maybe I am new to the bike that's why.
    Cons: The Mudguards are not perfect to Stop the muds. Short Pick ups would be better, because you have to swing your arm a little further to reach the full pick up. Head light is not very intense but satisfactory.
    Don't hesitate to buy this beast, you will love it

    Bike is very good with appealing looks..but it has (all apache series except RR 310) they has skinny tyres...apache 160 4V has 110/80 section tyres in rear...whereas .. hornet & fzs has 110/80 or 100/80 section tyres in the front...& they also have 140 section tyres at ...
