Key set problem
Shijil M
I have been using a registered honda hornet 2.0 for the past couple of years but it's very unfortunate for me to face a savior manufacturing defect with the key set which leads to the replacement two times in a row.Complete replacement of the key set is the only solution recommended by the authorized service center. Since the same issue happened for the second time (even, within the gap of a year) it is evident that some sort of fault occurred with r&d or with QA(quality assurance).Anyhow the experience I had with the honda hornet 2.0 is very poor and unsatisfactory. Being a genuine customer, I wish this mail will reach and get the attention of honda customer care or whoever is concerned. But replacement couldn't get without payment, because unfortunately, my key tag is missing. I am totally unsatisfied with this process.

Pure balance between power and mileage bike in 200cc segment
1 year ago
Shankar Sahay
I drove my hornet 2.0, 37000+ kms ( in 18 months) since april 2021. Including city and highway. Great handling, the pure balance between power & mileage. I'm getting mileage of 54-55 kmpl. My bike completed 7th scheduled service. In which both set of break-pad, chain set, and gear indicator switch get changed. Average service charges between 500-700 rs . I am very happy with this bike's great pickup and handling.. Build with a great honda engine.

Apache Pulsar comparison
Wasim
Many people compare this bike with apache 200 but logically we don't even need riding mode or liquid or even oil cool in 20BHP bike that was useful for 50 or 60 BHP onwards. The bike is stunning when you park the bike in building parking every person notices this bike. Much refined and powerful engine which is more than sufficient and practically useful. We don't go racing every day. 90 is sufficient for cruising. When I bought it the seat was stiff but now it was good and improving. And 2022 is much more improved than 2021.

Genuine review after 6 month use

Pankaj Kushwah
Cost is not good as bike value. It means it is not a value-for-money bike. The riding experience is good but it can be better. Looks amazing and this bike is eye-catching. But performance can be better by giving a 6-speed gearbox and dual-channel abs both feel like something missing. And reliability is poor bcoz one day accidentally my bike hit another bike and my bike handle alignment get very badly bent on another side of the wheel which feels very sad at this price range bike. This bike is not enough strong to handle small accidents also. One day I was gone to my village at 35 km but after 32 km gear bolt has loose and drop on the road and I feel it after 3 km at this time my bike just 5 month old. Servicing is good and cost-effective and maintenance is also good. Led indicators are of only one led... At least 3 leds I have seen in many bikes at this price. And the seat is very tough for pillion and also tough for the rider means it's not comfortable for long rides. But the power of this bike is awesome the initial pick-up is amazing on-road and when I drove on road everyone looks at my bike. The feeling to drive is very good but gear shifting is quite good not shifted properly or sometimes the gear is stuck. Headlamps can be brighter. The pillion seat is small. The wind cutting of this bike is very poor. You can increase tyre size by 20mm in the rear and by 10mm in the front.

Go ahead for hornet 2.0

It's been close to 4 months now & used for 2500kms. Hornet 2.0 is very refined and comes with great riding pleasure. It's really smooth and very easy to handle. I had a chance to touch 100kmph once & usually ride at 80-90 kmph. No vibration and a very comfortable ride. Has 5 gears and has great Power & we don't need a 6th gear. Have taken a test ride of many bikes till now ( 150 - 200cc ). But nothing beats this. Take a test ride and then decide. I loved the bike on the first test ride itself. Enjoying the riding pleasure. Go for it. By the way, mileage is b/w 38 & 43 km/liter for me now. This is only in cities.

My review of my honda hornet 2.0

Amit
Buying - I bought it for 1,56,000 rs chakdah , west bengal with all accessories (seat cover and leg guard ) Riding - seating position is a little sporty but it's comfortable, 1 gear too much power feels torquey, little vibration in 2 nd gear at higher rpm . You have to ride it 3rd or 4th gear for smooth riding. I usually use it 4th gear and I am satisfied with no vibration and good control.Looks - obviously, looks are a subjective matter but those golden fronts are eye-catching, look premium, and look decent, I love my bike looks which are matt red colour.Servicing - good, it depends on which showroom you buy.Pros - looks, honda engine, smoothness, controlling, all led Cons - no mudguard so muds come up easily, no liquid cooling thought engine did not heat much. That's it folks hope you guys read my entire review if you want to buy this bike, buy it you won't disappoint it's the perfect combination of power and mileage you can daily commute as well as a tour on this bike. thanks.

I am a medical student and was yet to buy my first bike..I was looking for a bike in the 150 to 250cc section.Ongoing thoroughly through various reviews of different bikes I finally halted at this bike..Upsides-1. Looks. When selecting Honda you never have to worry about looks. They produce one of the most decent-looking bikes on the market. With sharp edgy streetfighter styling, fat tyres and USD forks at the front this bike is a real eye-catcher which gives it a big bike appearance.2. Engine. While considering bikes of this range you only get yamaha R15 and MT15 and apache200 4v with power figures more than it.It has a linear power delivery and delivers enough power at low end which makes it more usable in the city.Still, this bike easily manages to deliver a mileage of 45kmplThe engine is slick and free of vibrations even at speeds of 90kmph. Beyond that, there are some vibrations at the footpegs.3. Performance. Smooth and noiseless. Great stability which offers great confidence. I myself have ridden the bike till 117kmph which still was well planted at that speed, thanks to the USD and the air vents at the front.Single-channel ABS works well. Has got really large tyres which add both to the look and stabilityBraking is great. The front brake has the correct bite while the rear has the progression.4. Reliability. Japanese engines are really reliable. This can only be experienced when owning the bikes for a long time.Indian makers like TVS and Bajaj are good at providing high engine figures but lack a life span. And this can clearly be seen by observing bikes after 3 to 4 years of purchase.5. Comfort. The riding stance is comfortable. I myself have ridden this bike for 250km at a stretch without any difficulty. The seat height is not too high which makes it easy to ride for short riders. Now some downsides-1. Expensive. Comparing it to other bikes of this range it is a bit expensive.2. Lacks fancy features. While other manufacturers are coming out with features like mobile connectivity and riding modes (though not very useful) this bike doesn't come with such features.3. Misses out on dual-channel ABS . Though single-channel abs is enough, double channel ab would be a cherry on the cake.4. Pilion seat. Pilion seat is a bit small and stiff which is not good for long rides or undulating roads.5. Headlight. It struggles to perform its task fully. Not sufficient for highway riding.Verdict- If you want an entry-level bike that can be used both for daily use and weekend rides then this can be your choice.

Clean chain every 3-4 weeks. While deceleration you'll feel a jerk on the footpeg That's dust, and mud on your chain & sprocket Tyre pressure 25-25 for both tyres will give you the best of both worlds Mileage & Comfort.
