My answer is yes go for it if u want a bike that can do everything but that goes for all the bikes doesn't it so what's so different about it? Well, 1st it's the look of it and the build quality feels solid too, and the exhaust sound, the engine I can go on and on. Just keep in mind it is heavy but nothing alarming even my brother who weighs about 45kilos can manage it easily my height is about 5.6ft and I have no trouble getting around. Overall I would say This is an excellent bike if u are thinking of owning it go get a test ride. Plus bajaj has one of the best service centres. So what's the catch well there isn't if you don't mind its weight and are fine with the mileage. This won't disappoint you.

  • A Commendable Ride: The Bajaj Dominar 250 Experience

    Buddhi

The Bajaj Dominar 250 provides a great experience from the moment of purchase. The buying process is smooth and hassle-free, with friendly and knowledgeable dealership staff. The riding experience is exhilarating, with a comfortable riding position and excellent suspension.
The bike offers a balanced and stable ride with impressive throttle response. In terms of looks, the Dominar 250 exudes a muscular and imposing stance, following the design language of its elder sibling, the Dominar 400. Its performance is exceptional, powered by a 248.77cc single-cylinder engine that delivers 27 PS of power and 23.5 Nm of torque. It can reach a top speed of around 130 km/h. Servicing and maintenance are convenient, as Bajaj has a wide network of service centers across the country. The costs are reasonable, and spare parts are readily available.
The pros of the Dominar 250 include its performance, comfort, style, and fuel efficiency, making it a value-for-money choice. However, some riders may find the seat a bit hard, affecting long-distance comfort. The bike also lacks advanced features like LED headlights and a digital instrument cluster found in its competitors. Overall, the Bajaj Dominar 250 is commendable, as it offers a fantastic buying, riding, and servicing experience, making it a worthy option for those seeking a powerful and affordable motorcycle with excellent performance and style.

Maintaining your bike is crucial for its performance, longevity, and safety. Keep your tires properly inflated, regularly checking for wear and tear. Clean the air filter regularly to prevent clogging and enhance fuel efficiency. Regularly change the oil and filter, as well as spark plugs for optimal engine performance. Inspect and tighten fasteners, such as bolts and screws, to avoid any loose parts. Finally, wash your bike regularly, ensuring it is clean and free from debris.

  • Best touring bike under 2 lakhs

    Supratim Ojha

The price in Kolkata is around 196000. For touring this is the best budget bike, all accessories are available online/local market/bajaj store. Riding the bike on the highway is very joyful, its sound makes me happy. It looks like a big hulk from the front. Servicing at 5000 km, engine oil change at 10000 km. Mileage around 37km/l.One negative issue is the city traffic heating issue. Overall best touring bike on a budget.

    Hopeless bike Bajaj dominar d250
    Bought the bike on 24-04-2021
First problem - the fuel injector pump failed (03-06-2021), RSA could not been reached and customer support provided a mobile number which was not answered. Luckily by god's grace could return back driving 80 plus kms. After reporting and verbal fight the bike was taken by the service center people on 05-06-2021.
Second problem - went to collect the bike on 07-06-2021 from showroom found fuel meter not working, again had to leave the bike with the showroom. 1200+ kms.
Third problem - the head light switch was malfunctioning after riding in rain.
Fourth problem - 19-06-2021 water / petrol was getting accumulated inside the petrol tank cap, resulting in rusting on the fuel tank. The outlet pipe was getting jammed. Again the bike was left to the service centre. Received the bike along with lifetime washing free promise from service centre.
Fifth problem - 12-08-2021 the bike gear 1st to 3rd was making unusual noise while shifting also the bike was getting dragged towards the right when the handle was held loosely. When the technician was shown he too accepted the issue but later the whole issue was ignored by the service in charge, returning the bike without resolution.
Sixth problem - 07-01-2022 after riding the bike for 15430 kms. The chain got dislodged from the gear and the rear tyre got stuck and the bike came to abrupt stand still, the chain cover along with the nuts got damaged badly, luckily saved as the speed was around 40 to 50 km/hr. With help from the locals could return back home 100 kms. One way. Visited the showroom on 08-01-2022 was told that the chain sprocket is totally worn out and need to be replaced immediately. Now waiting for the spare parts to be available fully with the service centre.
    Really tired with the bike.
