Hunter is an amazing , affordable bike. The hunter has a low seat height of 800mm and weighs approximately 148 kg, making it an accessible motorcycle for riders of different heights and skill levels.
The hunter is powered by a 349cc single-cylinder engine that produces 20.2 horsepower and 19.3 nm of torque. It features a five-speed gearbox and fuel injection. The motorcycle comes with a telescopic fork at the front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear, providing a comfortable ride. The braking system consists of a single disc at the front and a drum brake at the rear.

The Hunter’s engine, for instance, took to the role of highway cruising without any hiccups. At 90-100kph, there were minimal vibrations, and I could sit without feeling strained. The best part was that, even at those speeds, the Hunter returned a respectable 35kpl, helping me keep my ‘Goa budget’ from shooting over limit. Secondly, the bike’s halogen headlight did a good job of illuminating a few dimly lit and oftentimes dark roads in and around Goa. And if you’re wondering whether the seat and riding position were comfortable enough for my 550km, single-day trip from Mumbai to Goa, I didn’t face any back aches or sore shoulders. And the other hand ,mirrors are small and can barely show what’s behind, with my arms filling up most of the view in them. I get the point of parts sharing and economies of scale, since these are the same mirrors on the other J-platform REs, but a city-focused bike ought to have functional mirrors. Imagine having to keep looking over your shoulder while riding through traffic before switching lanes. A solution in the form of aftermarket mirrors or at least installing blind spot mirrors on the existing units may help

It is good to have this bike give you a beast riding with 350 cc engine and double abs system gives good contorling. This has helped in making the motorcycle feel a lot more agile and manoeuvrable than other 350 cc motorcycles. Because of this, the hunter 350 is a joy to use for daily city commutes.

  • Powerful and fun to ride

    Rishi Manglik

Bought this bike for leisure travel. Amazing low end torque with desired throttle response. It can go up to 30 in first gear. Limiter on 120 but get there easily with a passenger that makes highway riding fun. Never felt lack of power in it. The only downside I felt was that the seat comfort could be better for both the rider and the pillion. In long distance rides these seats are harsh on our back. Dual channel ABS makes braking reliable. LED lights could do a good icing but halogen con serves that retro styling too, it can be a matter of choice. Overall value for money bike.

  • An attractive compromise!

    Buying experience - (dapper ash)
The staff was nonattentive as there is huge demand. Once you get a salesperson to help they convince you to buy the top Rebel variant, accessories, insurance, extended warranty, etc. Which I declined as local shops offer a better deal. On the road, it came to 2.2 lacs.
    Riding experience -
The engine is full of torque and gives you same the feel as riding a classic 350 i.E. Attention and torque with poor mileage. The cruising speed is 80kmph higher than that brakes will not be helpful. The bike is designed for cities but the potholes and speed breakers are not its best friends. Ground clearance is low for a bike meant to be ridden in a city. Pillion comfort is terrible as the seats are uncomfortable and the ladies' footrest is absent. Summer riding in shorts will definitely give you a waxing engine that heats up and can be felt on calves.
    Details about looks, performance, etc.
It looks attractive and certainly catches the attention of people but, sometimes in a bad way as jealousy scratches and dirt splashes are very common. The solo ride is amazing on highways but the city rides are stiff, difficult to manage, and feel the need for a slipper clutch. Mileage is standard royal enfield 24-28 km. Pillion comfort is seriously missing. Missing tachometer and basic information on the instrument cluster and poor quality materials on side panels disappointment from royal enfield on a 2.2 lacs bike.
    Servicing and maintenance
Standard royal enfield service and maintenance costs are affordable. The bike if maintained well would not give trouble. The staff is decent the job gets done.
    Bottom line -
If you are looking for a fun royal Enfield motorbike around 2.2 lacs it is a great fit for you minus the "practicality".

  • Biggest mistake made. Auto Rickshaw is better than Hunter.

    Amit Das

Don't just go for the brand name of Royal Enfield. I have bought this bike dapper gray last month, rode around 500km.
    Problems:
    1. Uncomfortable seating position. You have to bend forward but not like R15 or RC390.
    2. Stiff ride quality. Suspension setup is just like Toto rickshaw. Bad shock absorber.
    3. Engine heated like boiler chamber even after 8-10km riding. Pillion also gets terrible heat.
    4. Very bad mileage 30kmpl approx.
There are very minimum good thing about this bike is like good looks, good sound that's all.
Made a biggest mistake. I think my Rs.2.16 Lakh money goes into water.
