Comfort level is over. Seat is bit hard. If you ride at a speed of 80 km/h you can get mileage upto 45. Good for long distance touring. Not a punchy machine like other quarter litre bikes because of its weight. Stability is fab, breaking must be improved. I am writing this after riding almost 8K kms. This is my real experience.

    1. Buying experience was good.......
    2. Riding experience is excellent.....
    3. Dominar 250 new colour has killer looks ...looks like a beast....and performance is also killer...
    4. Servicing and maintenance is very good and also service cost is low then other bike companies.....
This bike has too much weight then other 250cc bike's ....but still i got used to this weight...now a days I doesn't feel any weight like when I bought this bike first time .......before dominar I had an Avenger 150 street and I rode for 2yrs and now when I switched to this bike it feels that power is boiling up from inside.......it has too much power .....

    Hopeless bike Bajaj dominar d250
    Bought the bike on 24-04-2021
First problem - the fuel injector pump failed (03-06-2021), RSA could not been reached and customer support provided a mobile number which was not answered. Luckily by god's grace could return back driving 80 plus kms. After reporting and verbal fight the bike was taken by the service center people on 05-06-2021.
Second problem - went to collect the bike on 07-06-2021 from showroom found fuel meter not working, again had to leave the bike with the showroom. 1200+ kms.
Third problem - the head light switch was malfunctioning after riding in rain.
Fourth problem - 19-06-2021 water / petrol was getting accumulated inside the petrol tank cap, resulting in rusting on the fuel tank. The outlet pipe was getting jammed. Again the bike was left to the service centre. Received the bike along with lifetime washing free promise from service centre.
Fifth problem - 12-08-2021 the bike gear 1st to 3rd was making unusual noise while shifting also the bike was getting dragged towards the right when the handle was held loosely. When the technician was shown he too accepted the issue but later the whole issue was ignored by the service in charge, returning the bike without resolution.
Sixth problem - 07-01-2022 after riding the bike for 15430 kms. The chain got dislodged from the gear and the rear tyre got stuck and the bike came to abrupt stand still, the chain cover along with the nuts got damaged badly, luckily saved as the speed was around 40 to 50 km/hr. With help from the locals could return back home 100 kms. One way. Visited the showroom on 08-01-2022 was told that the chain sprocket is totally worn out and need to be replaced immediately. Now waiting for the spare parts to be available fully with the service centre.
    Really tired with the bike.

Price is affordable, I mean quite less if you are thinking a sport bike in less price. Comfortable rides, travel 1250 km in 2 days. Awesome experience. Unique design, which give the best posture for long drive. Very sexy look and performance of the bike is superb. Abs braking system is awesome. Slipper clutch gives you big comfort in city rides with traffic.

At this price point the D250 is among the cheapest 250cc motorcycle that money can buy, with only the Yamaha FZ25 undercutting it on price.
For the money, the D250 offers enough real-world performance, bundled with a comfortable ride and confident handling. As a package, the Dominar 250 is excellent value and when you come to think of it, the Dominar has always been known to be just that.
    I LOVE THIS BIKE.

  • Dominar 250 - a good bike

All in all bike was good. Had some vibration till around 3.5k rpm. I used to feel it in tank pad. Pillion was not much comfortable with vibrations in backseat. But when you take this machine to highway everything changes. I didn't went for long rides, was always around 100-120 kms. Post around 3.5k rpm, engine becomes smoother and much responsive. In city rides if we try to keep the rpms above those then we will definitely have a good riding experience. Had problems with weight initially , took me sometime to get adjusted. The long wheel base will not allow you to flick it like you always wanted. Still you wouldn't find an issue going through mild traffic , keeping rpms past those 3.5k for sure.

Joke's on you if you buy this bike thinking it's good. Almost everything about this bike is bad, really bad! The ride and handling is impressively horrible -everything vibrates. I tried using it for about 30 km/day. Mileage is a bit low, but I'm okay with it. But build quality is the absolute worst! Third rated parts are used and quality means you'll constantly have some niggles and issues. Buy something else. The overall looks are pretty decent. Exhaust note is the only mildly passable things here.

Bajaj dominar 400 is value for money. Compare 250 paint scheme now very bad option. Over weight it's tyre size very small. Compare to dominar 400. Meter console is not updated. Compare dominar 400 is little ok.But meter console very bad other vehicle have bluetooth all. No hazard option. Only good point light but visibility is not good. My option next coming dominar at least old first paint should there. Thanks all.

Thanks all.

Thanks all.
