  • Yamaha fz review after many years experience

    Gaurav Rahul Das

My big brother bought the FZ 2010 first gen. He rode it for almost 7 years then in 2017 he gave it to me as a gift. For beginners this bike is perfect for daily commutes and touring too. The old gen bike had more power and torque. The new gen is slightly low in power but its good. Looks are awesome and riding position is good and neutral and on long tour it's comfortable but not as much as high cc bikes. On long tours you can sometimes feel the power should be more but that's ok. In city I get mileage of about 40 km/l and on highway about 45-48km/l. One thing is Yamaha parts are expensive and service cost is around 600 Rs per service at dealer.. I had invested lot of money in service centre, parts are good but service is not good.. This bike needs low maintenance and just maintain the chain lube and brakes and tyre pressure for more efficient performance.. Acceleration is good not the best and engine is super reliable and even going on after 11 years. I always go for solo rides, about 250 more kms..
Cons : Seat comfort could be better for long tours.
Yamaha parts are expensive and service centre should be more
Pros : You can go for it and its reliable and best

  • Its like a powerless dragon but its still a freaking dragon.

Fz v3 was my first bike in India. i used it for my daily commute (college mostly) well the riding experience is fine for 30 - 130 minutes on that bike but after that, it's really a pain in the ass. The riding posture is a good though. Looks are amazing. I bought because it looked unique and stylish. Performance-wise i wouldn't brag much on it cause its just 150 cc can't brag about it like a 1000cc. But quiet good than other 150cc's.

  • Great riding experience extremely comfortable

    Ravi Kumar Sharma

The design of the bike give you a very comfortable riding experience, as it give your body a perfect shape and alignment for riding at high speed. The bike shows no vibrations even at 90 kmph. Overall its a great experience and fair deal with above 40 kmph mileage.Latest version has more sporty and appealing look. Go for it and live at fullest.

  • My luck...Fz v3 abs front

    Samson Varghese

2019 model fzv3...With 53 km/l...1,22243 km completed......Best riding comfort and braking stability.....The front abs braking system is very good.....But...The seat and tank cover could be improved. It's so poor.....I will keep my bike...For my daughter...She is 1 yrs and 19 days only......In a week 4 days, I traveled 232 kmi each... Mostly night at a speed not less than 75 km/h ....So I just simply adore my fz v3.

    Siddalingaprasad H S

The buying experience was very nice. The bike looks amazing and muscular and it is very comfortable for riding on highways and in the city. Servicing and maintenance are a little expensive but the people doing the service are very polite and they listen to you.
Pros: affordable bike, good mileage, good looks and power of the bike
Cons: The body material is made mostly of plastic. Shock absorbers could have been better for the bike

It's a very much comfortable ride, and excellent initial power quick in traffic's and abs just works too awesome in rainy overall it's d best among the other 160cc bikes available in market. Many had suggested me to take pulsar and apache before i purchased this one but i had already use fz that i got in 2010 so my preference will be be yamaha only so they could not change my opinion which bike to choose and what's better for me.

    Ahmed

Fz v3 was my first bike in India. i used it for my daily commute (college mostly) well the riding experience is fine for 30 - 130 minutes on that bike but after that, it's really a pain in the ass. The riding posture is a good though. Looks are amazing. I bought because it looked unique and stylish. Performance-wise i wouldn't brag much on it cause its just 150 cc can't brag about it like a 1000cc. But quiet good than other 150cc's.
