After 4000 km the engine began to open up. it revs up quickly, shifting is smoother than ever, it can cruise at 70-80 kmph in 5th gear with no signs of stress. i recently completed a trip of 900km, it gave me a mileage of 40kmpl. this bike has a comparatively low compression ratio (10:1) which makes less power but gives more mileage and increases engine life. compare it with other brands like ktm, bajaj which have higher compression ratios 11,12,13 even as high as 14:1, this is the reason you get more power and top speed from these brands. Yamaha suzuki honda kawasaki also uses high compression ratios but their engine refinement and precision is on another level. All things aside hero extreme 200s is a great bike in the long run. For me it's my perfect touring machine.

I am happy with getting the bike with 200 cc at low price. City riding and daily commute is okay but when it comes night drive we will not get enough headlight. I feel headlight lamp is placed little low should be in top little bit.
Mileage is good.
Comfortable riding position.
Brought it for long drives but not safe to drive at night time.
You feel smooth riding till 80-90 speed and I feel it has less power with 200 cc engine.

Hero Xtreme 200S is very good looking bike but it's engine is not powerful compare with others bike. actually my close friend purchasing this bike but after purchase many problems found in this bike means very low mileage (30 to 35 ) on highway and this bikes riding comfort is not good, this bike only advertising in 200cc segment bike but actually 125cc bike. my friend's experience is very worst with this bike.

2. Riding is very good comfortable you need to get adjusted for handling if you haven't driven big bikes like this if new gives some hand pains.
3. Looks is best in class for sporty, and stylish I like the headlight design more.
4. Not yet given for 1st service.
5. Bs6 version is good. For city conditions as we go slow engine heat will be high but no problem is noticed.

1.Buying experience is good but dealers are cheating us for money as all accessories come with bike itself even tough asking money in name of accessories.2. Riding experience is very good even for long ride it is very good have driven for 150 km nonstop. No issues. 3. Looks is very nice, stylish, road beauty with red color especially. Performance is also good we call see bhp is low but when you calculate into kilowatt it is same with 0.5 to 0.8 difference with other bikes. Seating position is good.4. Servicing is good it has cost me only 470 Rs. for first service which is very low for sports bike.5. Pros: stylish looks, suitable for city and family, less maintenance as it is hero bike. Service is good vast network.
Cons: signal lights would have fixed into domes.
