The buying experience was good as there was no waiting time, about riding quality it was sporty but not for longer rides. It looks awesome It is a college boy's bike in its performance it is best in the low-end and mid-range not much in the high end, servicing and maintenance are a bit costly but once it is serviced its runs smoothly
Pro- good eye-catching bike, fit and finish, full of torque and fun to ride in cities
Cons- after a few years it tends to lose its stance by having some issues with electronic or the engine, the seat is not padded well, costing is a bit high for a 155cc bike

The first thing I like about this bike is the looks and that is the reason I bought this bike, it looks better than any other bike under 200cc segment.
The second thing I like is the mileage 42-45km in a busy city like south Mumbai.
The third thing I like is the maneuvering ability, it’s comfortable to control the bike in traffic.
The fourth thing I like is the dual-channel abs braking system and traction control which assures great safety.
The fifth thing I enjoy is its performance, this thing is truly a pocket rocket!
Now let’s talk about the downsides.
The first thing I dislike is the build quality, it’s made out of thin and hollow plastic material which looks very fragile and could break easily. That is the reason it’s so lightweight and gives good mileage.
The second thing I dislike is the seat cushioning, it could’ve been thicker (no complaints about the pillion, it feels fun to sit behind and enjoy the wind kissing your face)
The third thing I dislike is that it’s OVERPRICED! Having a 155cc engine and low-quality build, the looks and mileage alone do not justify its pricing. It definitely should have been at least 10-15k lower.
But since it was my dream bike a year and a half ago and I was restricted by budget, I had to buy this unique beast.
Being a 5’11 talk rider, my preference if I had a higher budget would’ve been Royal Enfield Classic, Honda Cb350 or Duke 200.

Buying experience:-when I entered yamaha showroom I was thinking to buy yamaha r15 then I saw a bike in grey colour whose looks were similar to ktm naked bikes.
Then I ask one of the staff what is the name of this bike
Then they said this is mt 15 from yamaha which delivers a similar performance like r15 the only difference is that r15 looks sporty.
When I saw mt 15 the first thing that comes to my mind was that I had never seen this bike on the street and the second thing is the front look that looks like the face of demon.
Riding experience:-the riding experience is good. It is comfortable for the rider. Whenever I ride this bike on streets people look at the bike. This bike gives a good impression(gains attention)to most people.
    Details:-
Looks- the front or I can say the face look is too impressive and unique because it looks like a demon’s face
Performance:-this bike comes with 155 c power. This bike is the best bike under the budget. This bike provides great torque(pickup) and the top speed can go upto 135 km/hr
Servicing and maintenance:-the servicing and maintenance expenditure is ok
    Pros-
1-front look is different and unique from other bikes
2-this bike is an attention grabber
3-this bike has excellent torque and top speed
    4-breaks are good
5-this bike gives 45-50 km of mileage if the rider drives the bike properly. (this is my experience)
6-comfortable to ride and makes rider energetic while driving
    Cons:-
1-seat is small it sometimes feels uncomfortable for the person who sits behind the rider
2-this bike is a little expensive.

MT-15 I took this bike 3 months ago, This is awesome while riding in the city it has very good pickup and also good average, and it is very comfortable for long drives. The best thing about the Yamaha mt 15 is that it is low maintenance and also it gives mileage of around 50km/l which according to me after having a 155cc bs6 engine is very good. I also love the looks of this bike, The Looks are very aggressive and I have never seen front looks like this on any other bike.

  • Best bike in 200cc and below

    Shivshankar Rajguru

The design and features are very good. The performance is below 7k rpm. It is the best bike in the segment and comes with a 155cc engine it too small but due to VVA performance is better. The overall look is a very aggressive bike. Comfort is ok not good or not bad. The headlight throw could be better. Those who want attractive and performance along with good mileage highly recommended it.

  • Are you comfortable with all these drawbacks think twice test ride twice and read this twice before buying. Honest review with user experience.

    Harsh

I have been using this bike for a quite long time, to start with the performance, it is good quite above avg if compared with other bikes in this segment, mileage is good too, but with manufacturing wise, I would never recommend it to anybody, poor designing by Yamaha, uncomfortable pillion seat, worse indicator qualities (it is observed that 9 out of 10 people have these issues with bike), not strong headlight (even tvs jupiter has brighter headlight than this), maintenance cost is high, worse rear grab grills I have seen in this segment (it makes no sense to have like these once), also not at all comfortable with height above 5.5 people if they have to seat on the pillion seat, knees will be at more height than the seat, cannot seat properly, also the seat is so small and less comfortable that you cannot travel for more than half an hour continuously. It makes no sense to opt for this one considering all the drawbacks, also you can get similar pros in other bikes in this segment as well, I would recommend taking at least 2 test rides (solo and with a pillion), and comparing the performance, comfort, and riding experience. Think twice before opting, if you are comfortable with all these cons then only consider buying, also you can see a lot of reviews or videos with pros, but at the end of the day, cons matter the most which makes your experience memorable whether its discomfort or poor performance that depends and varies individually, thank you ride safe.

I had to wait about 3 weeks to get the bike, but totally worth the wait.
Great riding experience with mt-15 version 2.0 it's the better bike I have ever ridden so comfortable and also mileage is perfect to go on a long ride. The seat height is also perfect, not too high or low.
The best part is its engine. It is soo refined and the bike feels really smooth.

Killer machine perfect for riding especially on roads in India and traffic ...Just missing dual channel abs and a pillion seat else this bike has no competition in 150 cc segment ..Further, this look is inspired by the transformer movie ..
A bit costly as compared to other bikes in 150 cc segment ..Bike is reliable for long rides.

  • The face of this bike will surely grab your attention

    Shubham Shewale

Great riding experience with mt-15 version 2.0 it's the better bike I have ever ridden so comfortable and also mileage is perfect to go on a long ride. The seat height is also perfect, not too high or low.

    Nisarg Pednekar
